Yyeeaahh about your tags on the US-centric post, I'm from the us and the person who said they don't know what's going on in Britain?? Yeah that's completely on them lmao US news is covering it, so is any basic news outlet from what I've seen, even Google is popping up with little blurbs about what's going on. If anyone in the US doesn't know what's happening and forces other people to explain it to them instead of researching on their own, it's their own fault and it's not on you to educate people who blatantly try to stay ignorant and unaware. Don't worry about American feelings. If someone has a genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn, they wont lash out at you or harass you. I've come to you multiple times before for clarification I couldn't find online and you've always been the kindest, sweetest person. So you deserve a break from all your hard work.

I know most USian's are not like that, and I generally have good interactions with you guys. But since my posts have gone somewhat viral today, I am reaching 'how dare you say we piss on the poor' Tumblr, and I think I may be losing my mind a little.

I've had people:

tell me how my country is run

tell my how the laws in my country work based of one class they took in high school

tell me they're not sure if something is real or not, despite me posting using legit UK news sources

tell me they thought the Houses of Parliament (that big ornate building) was made purely for V for Vendetta and not a real place

tell me they need me to explain what's going on even though it's on every flipping news site going

tell me I need to do alt text for my photos even though I have done alt text for my photos (this one is just personal. I spent ages doing it and I get 'you could have at least done alt text'.)

tell me I should be scared about what's happening in my country right now (lmao no. The bbc was interviewing people in a conservative strong hold. Think of that like interviewing people in Kentucky. These people had been buying prosecco and champagne to celebrate him being gone. One lady just laughed and said 'ha! good'

I have been up since 6:45, it's now 19:05, and I've been fielding these questions alllllllll day. I'm gonna go curl up in a corner
