Hello! I will be traveling to paris soon and I was wondering if there are must sees aside from the very typical touristy places. Like any bookstores worth visiting? or art galleries that are a bit more underrated I should check out? Parks, cafes etc :-)

hiii i’m not from paris so i’m not necessarily a specialist but: shakespeare & co and the abbey bookshop are lovely bookshops selling english books. as for museums i love the pompidou centre (contemporary & modern art), le musée de l’orangerie (monet’s waterlilies!), the orsay museum & le musée de la vie romantique (sooo nice & there’s a lovely tea garden). i also recently went to the grand mosque of paris & it’s extremely beautiful though crowded at this time of year. as for parks really anything is lovely but i have a soft spot for les buttes chaumont & the luxembourg gardens! i don’t think i have a specific café to rec you but the bubble teas from teayammi are out of this world & i went to bonjour madame w friends several times & it’s a really nice lesbian bar! & the best restaurant ever is bodhi vegan <3
