Did you know that the reason S3 of Amphibia went back to a lighter tone and plots was because Disney didn't like how dark the show was getting?

You're so right about that and I do acknowledge Disney absolutely did have a major hand in how S3 turn out which is very tragic

But also as far I'm aware amphibia has always followed a lighthearted plot tone until season 2b and true colors, season 1 and 2a are ones you'd count in being lighttoned and good. I feel like my problem with S3 is less of the light tone, because to me it doesn't *seem* to have reverted back to the original tone, it just went off-tone with the characterisation, Plantars were reduced to comedic relief and major events were simply not addressed.

#like c'mon they reduced hop pop -one of the most beloved meaningful plantars- to crypto and hollywood who is constantly being money scammed #and while i never was into sprivy as much it just got more insufferable #let me be peacefully in delusion that there was none of that u guys xD /hj
