've got alotta thoughts bout different fandoms im in and why im in em/what i get outta em when it comes ta canon vs fandom but i have no idea how ta articulate anya em so in my hwad they stay

#spain speaks #thinkin specifically bout like the fandoms ive been in lately like traffic series n utmv n the difference in what i seek out when it comes #ta fanworks of both #like for traffic fics im much more enclined ta read dramatic retelling or character studies from canon events in the series which i thibk is #which i think is heavily affect by rhe fact that canon is so silly goofy causea the medium #where as for utmv the fandom IS basically the canon causea how weird n layered the whole thing is #the only rlly 'canon' that exists is the orginal comics that the characters all come from but Alotta the fans havent even read alla em n #alotta characterization n design aspects come from fanon bouncin offa each other #in my opinion leaning to heavily on fanon is a detriment in alotta fandoms but in utmv's case thats the POINT of the whole thing. not the #detriment part but the leanin on fanon thing ekwneoejeoe #tho utmv is not unfalible obviously people definitely write the characters bad alot WOWNSKWJ #thats also the case of majority of the fandom is/was younger so theres not as much experience there #u can deffo find some diamonds in the rough tho trust me ive hunted WLSNSK #'i cant articulate it' *writes an essay in the tags* okay me. imma stop now WOWNOWJW
