I never really know how to go about critiquing Trini/Zack in the main series because the problem isn't really the ship itself - I see Trini as a lesbian and in general I don't like how she gets "shuffled" between the other three MMPR guys, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Trini/Zack - but more how they're.....just really boring here. Suddenly they're just....crushing on each other due to being Journey's parents and they flirt and everyone around them goes "wow, you guys are just so in sync!" and it's just so nothingggggg. (And it doesn't help I really can't think of anything notable Zack's done in this event besides flirting.) Between Zack/Trini and Matt/Aisha and Tommy/Kat Melissa just doesn't really write her choices in ships with much dynamic beyond "well, they're just so good together!" and that's why TommyKim and DrakkonSlayer have been so refreshing in their crazy drama

Also at this point every MMPR girl's main story arc in this event has something to do with a heterosexual romance and that's....not great
