#alli says shit #i mean i’m not wrong #tell me the plot of two harlequin novels and tell me if they’re different. bitch. #billionaire gets some virgin servant pregnant. there. done. #like i’ve read older ones with different plots! mr. and mistress is a great example #but like...... most of the ones i see these days have that basic ploz #of course i say ‘harlequin’ bc avon has a bunch of historical fiction that i’m like 👌👌👌 ya know #like i still have my dense copy of the sea king somewhere n that’s one of their paranormal romances #harlequin books (or at least their ‘harlequin presents’ ones) just aren’t that interesting these days #their romantic suspense? usually quite interesting #the ‘to serve and seduce’ miniseries hasn’t been bad too far #i have STRONG opinions abt romance novels if u can’t tell #i like them but i hate when they get repetitive
