love that there's a "guy who tried to smuggle Bibles into the Soviet Union and got elected to Congress". i'd probably disagree with him on nearly every policy position but i respect that act.

#one of those things that makes me proud to be an american #the absolute energy of American missionaries is incredible and its just one of those byproducts of America being America #like...the ethnologue is just one of those things necessary & proper for proper worldwide evangelization. #but imagine if academic linguistics had to make that sort of thing on their own! how much would that even cost?
