Bluebell: Do you ship any rare-pairs?

Yup! I really like Spottedleaf/Leopardstar, which is a big one in the Firepaw Dies Instead au. I also ship Stormcloud and Dewnose, those two side characters from Thunderclan. I also like the concept of Whitestorm and Tigerclaw/star being a couple, but more in a we-grew-up-together-and-dated-as-young-warriors-but-we-drifted-apart-and-now-I-hate-you-but-part-of-me-still-remembers-you-back-then way.

Daisy: Who is your favorite queen?

Good question! I like Goldenflower the best! She’s just such a great mom! I also like Willowpelt a lot too though! I think they’re both very interesting characters!

Lilac: What is the craziest ship you’ve seen in fanfictions or art?

Ashfur/Scourge is pretty out there but seems to have a bit of a following lol, or at least it did.

Wisteria: Are you looking forward to the Warriors movie?

Yes, but I would be looking forward to it so much more of it was a tv series or netflix series, kind of in the vein of the new Watership Down. I just worry that it’s going to go the same way as the Guardians of GaHoole movie. The GoG movie was a fine movie on it’s own: it was visually amazing and I actually liked the story a lot. But I like the story of the books more, and the story of the GoG movie was condensed down so much because there was too much material to fit into a movie. I think they did an admirable job adapting it and came up with a cohesive story out of it, but it’s very different now, pretty much nothing like the original story. I worry that something similar will happen with Warrior Cats, but that it might be worse.

Just to name a few things changed in the Guardians of GaHoole movie:

Digger was originally a quiet, sensitive owl, but he got turned into an eccentric jokester for some reason.

Otulissa is a) not a spotted owl and b) the love interest for Soren, which is a far cry from the stuck-up prissy know-it-all turned battle-hardened hero she was in the books. She and Soren also never had any kind of romantic relationship in the books.

They merged together St Aggies and the Pure Ones in the movie. Originally, St Aggies was a completely separate group that captured the owlets and made them look for the flecks to use the flecks magnetic powers, and the Pure Ones were bitter rivals with them before finally defeating them.

I also can’t remember if this was touched on in the movie but the Pure Ones were uhh pretty much owl nazis.

Kludd’s story arc is also way different but this is a post about warrior cats and idk why I’m going off about GoG lol.
