a few days ago i came up with a george inspired outfit idea and then today i randomly thought let's do a lockwood and co closet cosplay so i did

i've never really been massively into cosplaying myself, but i have so much lockwood and co inspiration right now so i felt obliged to follow through when i had the idea

ft. my commentary bc why not

this is my fave because it was the original idea and the accessories are the best

yes that is severus snape's wand -- i did not have a random rapier lying around

i ended up going through all my fake costume glasses just to realise that my real glasses are the most accurate... (ignore the shading, i was trying to remove any random reflection in the lenses)

yes that is a bears in trees t-shirt bc i could not find the other black t-shirt i wanted to use (this is making me want to make a l&co x bit post...)

today i realised that the only orange thing in my entire wardrobe is a random pair of socks

update: i did a full lockwood cosplay here -> lockwood cosplay :)

i do not have a long coat or blazer (yet) and my costume cloak (with the tie) was giving hogwarts so i ended up using the leather jacket

this one felt the coolest to wear

one thing i love about all of these is the belts

i was originally going to use a red tie but it was a gryffindor one so it looked way too much like harry potter

this was the hardest because I don't have as many items of clothing in lucy's style (and most of them are in the wrong shade of blue)

my original plan was a light blue fluffy jumper and denim jacket but the layers and the colours didn't look as i intended

so i ended up using the lockwood leather jacket instead (which is giving locklyle vibes)

would not recommend wearing the fleece and leather jacket combo for more than a minute, i am still boiling

but overall this whole thing was really fun (but tiring) :)

1 (You relate to) Lady Mary Crawley from Downton Abbey. She starts the series as a very self-centered person and gradually changes and actively tries to be better and learn from the mistakes she made and can't just walk away from. She's very human.

7 (You would marry unironically) Ben Wyatt from Parks And Rec. I know Jim Halpert is seen as the quintessential Sitcom Husband™ but Ben Wyatt is leagues ahead of him in several areas and I could go on but I won't. 😂

11 (You would cosplay) Oh MAN, I had to think about this one. The first character that came to mind is the book version of Lucy Carlyle, because with my hair a certain way I can kind of look like her. But honestly, a dream cosplay would be Connor from Detroit: Become Human. I don't look like him and I don't have the hair for it, but I love his mannerisms and I think the opportunity to be that character for a bit would be incredibly fun.
