old doodles i never posted for a concept that passes my mind once and a while. it is an au in which the auths have lost their memory and believe themselves to be humans, ancom is the destined babysitter. it is based on the twitter post of people saying they trust someone but it is somone they should not and would not trust.

hmm. now that i am asked, the hcs flee from my mind. i will try to condense what hcs i can offer to you.

authright has a tendency to make everything wilt in his presence (it is extremist universe lore, bare with me) and lights go out or pop when he goes near or feels anger. he has eyes that appear lively but are truly dead inside and lack any shine. the extremists also have a karaoke night and authright and ancom often buttheads during that time, but at some point begin furiously duetting each other. authright and commie's voices clash with one another for the spotlight while ancap purposefully goes off tune or doesn't put any heart to mess with authright.

this ask felt like a personal calling honestly. i feel like i have been waiting my whole life to receive this request. yall have no idea how much i love both of these characters (mod sugar can attest). all i do is think about nazbol and also ingsoc. i love them. i want to cry

mod spice’s personal favorite headcanon under the cut!

one of my personal favorite headcanons is that ideologies aren’t human in ANY way, and regularly do things that would freak normal human people out. they don’t necessarily need sleep nor do they need food but i believe they enjoy doing such things sometimes (as shown in the conquest of bread + meet the extremists, they at least eat, but i personally don’t think they have to)

we’ve seen that they can have identical clones(?????) of themselves (ancom), they can like... shoot beams (basically everyone during centricide 8), and hell, one of them is an alien (posadist). nazbol has his whole super powerful thing going on too. i just think it’s really interesting, and personally i think that if they ARE in the human world, humans see them as freaky scp type cryptids.

like idk, mod sugar once brought up the idea of some person seeing a whole crowd of ancom clones at a riot or something. would that not freak someone out??

i also have a tiny little add-on hc that they have auras that glow brighter when they make use of these powers, simply cuz i think it’s cool and really drives the uncanny valley, “these beings aren’t human” factor. i also think it’d be cool if it glowed either stronger or weaker based on how the ideology is feeling, or how many supporters of the ideology are around them. as a bonus, they could use it to identify each other (in pink capitalism month, perhaps this was the reason commie was able to sense pinkcap before he even came on screen)

i could go on all day about this but ill stop right here, maybe we’ll make a full post about it sometime, who knows. mod sugar plz reblog with ur fav hc you’re way better at this sort of thing ❤️

a headcanon i have is that cultcom is insanely creepy.

elaboration under the cut.

i don't really see them as someone who's all "believe me, i think i'm correct! the holy one sees all!" and is extremely super vocal about it. they are indeed active but in terms of loudness or whatever, it's more on the contrary. they're silent and like to stare into the distance but if there is someone nearby, they'll keep their focus trained on them like an owl (a more twisted reprise of the polite mannerism of keeping eye contact to show respect. in this case, they're doing it as a mockery).

they are not a good person and it is unbelievably difficult to watch. they're like a venus fly trap when they brainwash people into their commune, they are very eerily disgusting and undoubtedly a walking husk of who they used to be. if you stand beside them or see them from afar, they are very chilling. you can see them either standing very still with pinprick eyes at the sky / the ground or shaking their fists.

however, as silent as they are, they are quite the preacher once you get them actually going. they go on monologues that will make you go "what the hell? is wrong with you?" and "what are you on about?". they make it seem like everything is fine in this new vision they have but it is far from that.

also, i just feel like communalism was someone who would be very intent on a goal but their issue is that they're easy to stop once you manage to grab their attention. they're very open (haha, get it? because they're a communalist and everything is- im going.) to things. i feel as though they'd hear someone out but ultimately would be too stubborn to make an actual change in themselves (they are an OFF COMPASS for a reason!), i like to believe the only reason they had actually made a move to tweak themselves was because moralist was a realist and his ability or influential power or whatever manifests through the power of words. anyway, the reason why i expounded on that is because i believe that, as cultcom, they have a very one-track goal in mind and directs their attention and care to one concept of a person, people, entity, or whatever concept they envision as "the holy one" now. before it might've been easy to grab their attention because they had no utter devotion or dedication to. a concept? a thing? whatever delusional thing they believe in? it would be very hard to shake them off of this and they'd be immovable for a while.

another hc i have is that they tend to smile a lot. communalism already loved to smile but that was out of kindness. cultcom would smile as a way to "preserve" what was left of communalism (they're still cultcom) and to also to do it to express "friendliness". they don't smile all the time but it is definitely something that they do often. often enough that everyone thinks that they do it all the time.

tl;dr they gaslight and gatekeep but is not a girlboss. they are a walking creepy hazardous red flag and stink (like sulfur)

i hope you do not mind the ingsoc surprise appearance.

hc context both egoist and ingsoc have some sort of field that influences the people around them (ingsoc with his doublethink field and egoist is something that we just came up with).

however, egoist's field cannot work on ingsoc. ingsoc's overpowers his own. but, egoist's field is able to work when ingsoc's doublethink field is down. at that point, ingsoc's doublethink field will struggle overpowering egoist's field.

the catch is: ingso's field is barely ever down, this resulted in egoist treating it as some sort of game.

in reference to darwinist, a headcanon that i have is that he's genuinely quite strong. he may not physically look like it (still, i picture him as sort of lean) but he says that he's "the best" for a reason. he probably has good brains and good combat skills yet he chooses to do things out of his own merit because he's entitled to how great he is.

tl;dr darwinist is strong and sort of has a decent amount of intellect, he just does the stupidest things for the hell of it.

unfortunately, i am unsure of how else to elaborate so im inviting mod spice to reblog this with his own take. he surpasses me in that front. (:
