           ❝ MAYBE I HAVE. ❞  A little cold weather wouldn’t deter her. She’s no wimp. But no amount of attitude can keep out the chill, and she didn’t bring a jacket; just the sweater she’s wearing. Still, she tries to hide the shiver, arms crossed over her chest. She’s surprised anyone noticed her on the other side of the chain-link fence. There’s no way she’s the only person to ever show up and gawk at the planes. They’ve got to be used to this kind of thing, right? But she’s the only one there right now, standing out in these freezing winds, all so she can get a glimpse of what was going on inside the compound. Him showing up beside her catches her by surprise; she’d been distracted.  ❝ I really wanted to watch the planes take off, okay? So what if it’s a little cold? ❞
