my collections might be small but i love them..not pictured: the insane amount of elephant stuffies i have (some dating back circa 1993), all of my dollhouse/miniature furniture.

for reference, too, the van gogh postcards are the size of a thumbnail. i got a pack of normal sized ones when i was in amsterdam and the back had previews of each, so i cut them out and mounted them on cardboard/laminated them. in the very last picture, i have the full new testament (illustrations included?!) and it could fit in a matchbox.

#the beads are from when i was maybe 9-10 :) #the tiny glass blue swan (and all the mini foods/furniture) was my mom’s growing up #maybe even her moms? #very old and delicate and well crafted #the tiny gold cat above it was given to me by my best friend in elementary school #who moved back to japan at the start of middle school #and her dad would make trips to america every so often and would always make a point #to deliver a HUGE bundle of letters/candies/Small Items :’) #everything in that curio case is the size of a thumbnail roughly like i can’t stress #how fucking small these things are #mmm n all the hotwheeeeeels :’) my mama would give my sister and i each a car after doctors appointments #and that is my meager left over collection idk where they all went over the years #but when i got a therapist a few years ago she fucking gave me a hot wheels :’) #n then the one with the sticky note is from her to me and my partner for kicking ass and being wildly in love #this is also discounting my library which is. mainly patricia cornwell omfg but weweeweooo i have a lot of books #my realest and funniest worst trait is i’m an unashamed unrepentant book thief. i’ll be up front #like if you let me borrow this you’re giving it to me
