monk going "what's the catch" whenever something good happens to him, whenever someone compliments him or is genuinely interested in him 😭. man can't even be happy for more than 15 minutes in an episode, damn.

at first i thought, the moment he went silent after telling dr. bell all about it that he was thinking "someone who i feel genuinely cares about me that i can lose"

BUT HE WAS DOUBTING HOW LOVABLE HE IS. HOW HE DOESNT DESERVE LOVE JUST LIKE ANY BODY ELSE.

"i mean, you've met me."

he thinks he is not worthy of love. he thinks there's nothing anyone should love about him.

how would he when he doesn't even love himself...
