i keep looking at this screenshot bc theyre so cute but also the fact that this is literally the one single scene where bg3’s camera didn’t work around morghaine’s height and cropped off the top of their head sends me bc it somehow makes the height difference even more egregious. theyre so tall. morghaine what are you doing all the way up there

invented a provisional backstory which, in a move that is very funny to me, does make morghaine’s warlock patron their own mother, which is very funny every time some spooky voice comes from nowhere because i’m like “mum? oh okay no okay”

gale immediately taking find familiar on seeing morghaine’s familiar is wizard flirting, obviously. the question is if morghaine knows enough wizard customs to KNOW this is wizard flirting or if they simply take this as insufferable wizard competitiveness (they’re the same thing)

also what was the romantic combat thing? 👀

so gale gets knocked out by an ogre and shadowheart’s out of spells. morghaine runs over to cast cure wounds. they’re still not in melee with the ogre, and they could absolutely get back to ranged distance, but that would mean leaving still badly injured gale right there with the ogre, and morghaine has more hit points to spare. so instead of getting away, they put themself physically inbetween gale and the ogre and immediately get hit the next turn for like half their health
