i went to the optometrist for the first time ever after my doctor suggested it cause my eyesight has been blurry the past few months (hard to read bus numbers etc) and it turns out

i am mildly nearsighted 😌

just like my mom! lol

still not too bad, but enough that we ordered me some glasses, so that oughta be fun! the medicaid stuff is pretty decent too and i even got to order sunglasses and have both pairs totally covered which is great cause i only have like $10 😅

#my left eye is worse than my right by like half a diopter or something but still -.5 / -1.0 so still pretty mild #it really is just cause i'm 29 and not cause of my medication 😂 #nadia rambles #the dry eye IS cause of my meds tho and the optometrist suspects that's probably why my right eye has been watering so much #not too surprised there just need to get some eye drops #i will post pics when I get them in a few weeks but the main pair is black frames with bright scarlet arms #(and hopefully a rubber texture like the other color i tried on) #and the sunglasses are a similar style of black with v dark blue translucent arms in regular plastic #you know. red and blue like spider-man 😂 no i also just like the colors lol but i won't pretend i wasn't thinking 'hehe spidey' #also there is a possibility i accidentally got the same sunglasses as my mom 😅😂 so i'll have to remember that lol
