Casual Fashion

Sunhi's Romantic Relationships

Jaehyun

July 2014 - September 2015

To no one's surprise, these two do have a romantic history. They've known each other since Jaehyun joined SM and around June 2014, thought that maybe there was more than just friendship. It was a great relationship for both of them, but eventually both of them decided that they'd be better just as friends. Luckily there was no lingering awkwardness so they're still great friends years later, if not even closer than before.

They met through the '97 liners group chat and Sunhi immediately had a crush on him. Jaehyun would tease her to hell and back about it. To her surprise, he felt the same way and confessed a few days before Christmas at a holiday party. Both of their groups were surprised by it because of how different they are, but they were a really close couple. Eventually, Yugyeom ended things because of their schedules. Sunhi was upset about it, but quickly understood why he did it and they're now friends again.

Hajoon was a choreographer that Sunhi worked with briefly and ended up falling for. Immediately, the rest of 127 didn't like him and thought there was something weird about him. After a month together, Sunhi got wind of the fact that he was using her name and their relationship to get things from places and people (restaurants, clothing stores, family businesses, etc.). When she tried to end things with him, it escalated into a huge argument and ended with SM getting a restraining order against him on her behalf. This entire situation was enough for her to stop dating for a while.

Sunhi's Tattoos and Piercings!

Tattoos

Once the boys started getting tattoos, Sunhi raised hell about getting some of her own. The first one was the 1997 tattoo and after that, the company realized they really couldn't stop her from getting more. She gets all different styles because she doesn't think settling into one fits her. She's an eccentric person and wants the art on her body to reflect that. The fan favorite is her tramp stamp and it has fans going insane when she wears something that puts it on display.

Sunhi's Relationship with NCT Dream

Renjun

They don't interact with each other as much as Sunhi interacts with other Dreamies, so they're a very rare pairing. Sunhi definitely thinks he's super cute though and wants to get closer with him, they have just never really had the chance.

Jeno

He used to have a little crush on her so for a while, it was slightly awkward, but he quickly got over it and now they're good friends. Whenever NCT does full group promotions, the two of them are always right next to each other.

Always at each other's throats. Every chance to tease the other is taken. There was a behind the scenes clip during NCT 2020 where the two of them were just fighting each other while the rest of the group laughed at them.

Sunhi's Friends outside of NCT

Bang Chan and Lee Felix (Stray Kids)

Sunhi met Chan through the '97 line group chat and was quickly introduced to Felix soon after Stray Kids's debut. She was so excited to have other Australian idol friends.

Obviously she's friends with them. She doesn't join their outings too often, but she definitely has a great time when she does. She's the closest with DK.

Sunhi isn't sure where exactly she met Winter, but the two of them are close friends. They are always seen together in and around the SM building and have done some dance covers together.
