so homestuck won the figure poll and i decided on fairy vriska bcs like well. obvi. im still finishing my current project and i want to at least have the lineart for my doll line r63s before I get like too into deep into the figure (pajama party is definitely going to win, I'm surprised i really thought beach trip was a shoe in to win but Whatever) BUUUT i am working on like concept sketches and trying to iron out as many small details before i get actually started making the thing. one thing i really wish i could do was have some sort of translucent wings for the figure, ideally a plastic i could etch spiderweb patterning into i just think it would make it look a lot more ethereal and serve like. fairy garden statue realness a lot more. but i don't like have any. sheets of cerulean plastic or any way to carve them into shape without buying unnecessary expensive tools that I'd only use for one project anyways...it's a shame though having to half ass the fairy wings its like. the main appeal of a fairy other than being Small and Puckish

#im gonna be doing an armature wire base for this one a new frontier for me but itll be good #deciding on leg positioning rn i think shes gonna be criss crossed applesauce its just kind of a more mischievous pose and itll have some #nice balance and geometry with the wings but itll be hard to get those shoe details right...nooks and crannies #also cant decide on converse or glossy red heels. or hair down or a ponytail. maybe ill post my concept sketches later i left one at work #rofl my deranged scribblings #i decided on big chocolate gold coin for what shes holding but ill need to think of something funny or clever for the wrapper design lol #little guy holding a big food item is. its a cheap cutesy shot but i like it everytime nonetheless #also the wings not being see through it gets in the way of the hair which i want to be like really detailed and dramatic and large #Anime as Fuck yknow if what pumpkin wont give me anime figures ill do it myself
