#non-ministry related: linnet not being a completely terrible person for once

In case I ever write a Merula POV fic (absolutely no guarantees there), I’ve been keeping track of what Ministry-based shenanigans occur behind the scenes in the Witch, and the vast majority of it has been:

- Merula and Talbott awkwardly trying to support each other’s romantic endeavors (neither of them are good at it),

- Kathy and Merula accidentally and repeatedly confusing the heck out of each other (including a failed flirting attempt by poor Kathy), and

- Robards being the sole person to resemble a healthy father figure in Merula’s life (dad jokes, awkward supportive gestures, and all).

In other words, if I never write the full fic, there is so much oneshot potential.
