#Did I even say I drew my future JS in not-shorthand for the first time the other day?! delighted how much her ju-su-ness shines through. #I was scared that she didn't look a thing like JS. But I remembered Hecate the Geckate and I wanted to #This comic is getting all of my life and soul in it anyways. That art room is my own art room when I was a teen. Hec the Geck can live on #through Hecate #We even have a catweazle-like magpie named after my youngest sib's magpie character :P (with permission) #I think art is about leaving little bits of yourself in there. #Anyways the whole dumb comic is just a test of my abilities to adhere to industry standards #Gotta use that comic art qualification somewhere XD #I think I can get issue 1 under my belt. Um Archie didn't sue Penders over The Lara Su Chronicles? They sued because he was claiming they owed him money and were using "his" creations without permission, acting as though he was surprised his characters were still being used while simultaneously berating Flynn and co for not following his obvious "plans" and whatnot. The issue was his claiming he wasn't under work for hire (after saying for years he was), nothing to do with TLSC.

So you are correct. Apologies. I had a minor brainfart. So many people proliferate the 'Penders Sued Archie' thing, I think I got my facts momentarily confused. Though sadly, the part about Archie being super incompetent was still accurate... enough so that a manchild with a flimsy but not unprovable accusation was able to get further along than he ever should have.
