The way Isabella is making herself and many other miserables by upholding societal values of what people should act like, pushing both her sister and her dautgher away because of all the fucked up stuff she has done to try and make them have a “happy life”, making it so that in her mind the sole act of trying to “help” her loved ones only made them grow ever more distant from her
