9, 10, 11, and 12!
9. Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?
Tumblr media
(from Delirium Tremendous by Felix Hagan & The Family)
Bonus: Ashes by Stellar for Hiram and the Deviless
10. What's an AU that would be interesting to explore with your OC?
I've never given much thought to AUs for Fallen London, but the Neon Future is very interesting. For Hiram in particular I think a modern setting would work very well. I chose the Time ending from Heart's Desire because the character's main motivation is seeing how things are and how things turn out, and even though all the endings are somewhat tragic, I think immortality in the sense of continuously witnessing change and innovation would work perfectly for Hiram. A modern AU would be cool to explore in general, but the Neon Future adds the fact that London gets obliterated along the way, and the character would get some interesting choices of behaviour about it.
11. What is your OC's weapon of choice? Have they ever actually used it?
Hiram's weapon of choice is a good old reliable Ravenglass Knife, it's the oldest weapon he owns. He doesn't need to use it very often (anymore) as he usually relies on his pawns to do the dirty work for him, but when he has to take matters into his own hands the Ravenglass Knife is still as good as new.
In some occasions he finds use for one particular Tune in Three-Fours, but only when the situation calls for it, it's not a weapon to be deployed lightly.
12. Is your OC self-destructive? In what ways?
He's a soulless hubristic guy with a laudanum addiction, curiosity should be his downfall but fortunately for him in Fallen London curiosity cannot kill the cat in any way that matters. Things need to be A Lot for him to properly experience them, and his standard for A Lot is in fact Too Much for anyone else capable of self-preservation. He always pushes himself a little too far. He needs to experience life to the fullest and stir-crazyness can make him spiral into obsession. He doesn't feel the need to stop and he keeps going even in the most dire circumstances just because he can, even if he always plans to avoid the worst outcomes he sometimes chooses to pursue them just to gain something more.
He also loves partying a little too much.
