I feel like I'm the type who will always root for the male lead. Even if I do like the second male lead, somehow I still end up rooting for the male lead. Unless of course he's a piece of trash. Then that's different. Or it's like in the case with Strobe Edge. Where the male lead is great but somehow the second male lead is just...better in that series. It was the first time I ever felt that way about a series and yes, I adore Ren and Ninako together. I think they're arguably perfect together but Andou and Ninako would have been such an interesting pair too. Seriously, thus far, I've not really come across a significant second male lead that I'd root over the male lead. I mean, I usually avoid love triangles anyway but even though I knew who the end pairing were, somehow it ended up being the first time I rooted for the second male lead :")
