𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞 (𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐮𝐳𝐮𝐦𝐞'𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟑 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚)
Tumblr media
Suzume: When is Taro-kun coming for me?
Haruto: Um.
Suzume: Is he coming?
Haruto: He's on his way. In the meantime, let's talk about what brought you here in the first place.
Suzume: How long before he gets here?
Haruto: Let's see if he can get here after I extract your music video. During your last interrogation, you said that you had to kill to protect your boyfriend.
Suzume: Yes. She wouldn't stop bothering him.
Haruto: Stalking?
Suzume: Hm, yes.
Haruto: Really?
Suzume: Taro-kun told me he told her to back off multiple times, but she kept trying to flirt with him. It made him uncomfortable.
Haruto: That's what he told you?
Suzume: What?
Haruto: Taro-kun sounds like a strong guy. Why did he need you to handle things for him?
Suzume: He didn't. I just did it for him.
Haruto: Why?
Suzume: To protect him.
Haruto: Is that all there is to it?
Suzume: Yes. I want him to be happy.
Haruto: I think you did it so he would appreciate you.
Suzume: ...
Haruto: Am I wrong?
Suzume: You don't know what you're talking about.
Haruto: Don't I?
Suzume: Taro-kun appreciates me as I am.
Haruto: Your trial 1 music video indicates otherwise.
Suzume: He- He gets angry sometimes, that's all.
Haruto: You guys argue?
Suzume: It's easier to let him get it out of his system.
Haruto: So you let him yell at you.
Suzume: We tolerate each other's outbursts.
Haruto: I'm sure even you recognize signs of abuse.
Suzume: I'm not an angel either.
[Bell rings, mechanical sounds in the back.]
Haruto: There's plenty you haven't told me yet.
Suzume: Let my music video speak for itself.
Haruto: Fine. Prisoner 004, sing your sins!
[MV description - SEVER]
"Being with you, my heart goes aflutter.
Is this what love feels like?
I've never felt anything like it."
The MV starts with Suzume hanging onto her boyfriend's black silhouette as they walk through the monochrome maze of mirrors from her first MV. She's properly drawn and coloured, her face fully visible. All the mirrors they walk past are shattered.
"This feeling, I think I've gotten addicted to it.
The rush, the pain, the happy bappa-bump of my heart.
Am I doing it wrong?
I wish I could give you a happy love story."
A scene of Suzume and her boyfriend sitting side by side in a living room, watching TV. A few love letters, decorated with pink hearts, are laid out messily on the table in front of them. The frame glitches, revealing the letters to be overdue rent bills. The wallpaper begins to peel off, revealing moldy walls beneath.
"This isn't like any generic love song,
there's a problem in the shape of me.
But you don't see it. You don't see it so it'll be alright.
Until someone comes along to ruin our love."
The camera cuts back to Suzume and her boyfriend's silhouette in the maze. A gold silhouette appears, wearing matching pendants as Suzume, down to the piece of morganite. Suzume gasps, gritting her teeth as she stares down the gold silhouette.
"Why are you okay with this?
Even though she won't leave you alone.
If its for the sake of protecting you, I'll do anything."
The camera seems to be in Suzume's pov now. She stalks closer to a blonde woman in an alleyway. Clouds shroud the moon. The woman fixes her hair, turned away from Suzume who slowly creeps up behind her. Suzume raises her bat. She goes for the legs first.
"Is this okay? For me to be your knight in shining armor.
I hope I didn't do anything too wrong."
Suzume raises her head, breathing heavily, golden glowing liquid splashed across her face. The camera zooms out to show a gold silhouette lying on the ground, bleeding the same golden liquid. The frame glitches, split seconds of the golden liquid being shown as blood and the silhouette as the woman.
"I didn't think you would go this far," Taro presses his fingers to his cheek, deep in thought. Its the first time his face is being shown.
"The rush, the pain, the happy bappa-bump of my heart.
This happy love story, don't let it end yet.
What do I do? I've never felt anything like this."
Suzume's eyes widen, expression morphing into one of uneasiness. Taro turns away from her, distracted with something else. "DON'T LEAVE ME" flashes all across the frame. She reaches for a boxcutter in her jacket pocket, clasping her fingers around it.

Haruto Suzuki’s first Voice Drama (Jigsaw)
E: Good morning, Haruto. Sorry to wake you up so early
H: It’s fine…..
E: Shall we get started on the interrogation?
H: Ok….
E: How’s life in Milgram?
H: Fine….
E:…..How old are you, Haruto?
H: T-Twenty….
E: *sighs* Is this another cold one? No…his tone seems more meek and shy than Kurosaki’s….he was just straight up rude….
H: Y-You okay?
E: Yes, sorry. Just lost in though
H: Mhm….
E: Is there anyone you’re close to here?
H: Not really….
E: No allies? Not even someone you speak to regularly? Or are you more of a loner?
H: I….I don’t know
E: You don’t know?
H: I think….I like being alone more….
E: Not a social type, huh?
H: I guess not…..
E: There really is no one?
H: Akari-san….she tries to invite me to things
E: Do you engage in those social interactions or no?
H: I don’t want to be rude….but it’s hard….
E: Hard?
H: Talking with others makes me nervous….sorry….
E: Tell me, what do you think of the other prisoners?
H: They’re all….kinda overwhelming….
E: Just go one by one
H: Kasumi, Mai, and Akari are kind
E: I see…to be expected
H: Other than them, Kousei and Masako…I sometimes talk to them….
E: What about Raiden or Asuka?
H: Raiden is an adult, so he scares me…but he’s nice. Asuka is nice too
E: And Daisuke?
H:………..
H: he makes me uncomfortable. Sorry….
E: I understand. Dealing with him isn’t exactly pleasent
H: Yeah….
E: You seem tense. I’m only here to ask a few questions, you can ease up
H: S-Sorry……
E: Is something on your mind? You seem pensive?
H: A-Ah, do I? It’s just…..Daisuke-san…..he left the room smiling….awfully wide…..I was just thinking what happened that made someone usually so cold grin like that
E: *sighs* Oh that….well, if you must know, I slapped him for being uncooperative
H: Oh…….O-OH—!
E: No need to be startled. The dude is a weirdo that confirmed his pants got tighter. I don’t pay much mind to the garbage that comes out of that psycho’s mouth
H: Ah…..
E: Anyways, sorry about that. There’s nothing ‘fun’ about this interrogation
H: Y-Yeah…..um….is there anything else? For me to answer?
E: Well, anything about your crime. If you’re okay opening up about it. It would be nice to have some background information before I take a peek into your memories
H: Oh…y-yeah…that….I killed someone….
E: !!!
H: H-Huh? Is everything okay, warden-san?
E: You….just admitted it? Like that?
H: It’s true though. I murdered someone
E: That’s…..unusually cooperative
H: Oh—
E: Don’t get me wrong. Compared to what seemed to be Kasumi’s mind games and Daisuke’s creepiness, you’re much of preferable to deal with
H: Oh, thanks….I guess
E: However
H: Hm?
E: This doesn’t mean I’m playing favorites or whatever. You’re still a prisoner that killed, regardless if you admit it so easily or not. It all comes down to what I see and deduce from your mind’s perspective about it all
H: Yeah…..I’m a murderer and there’s absolutely no excuse for it
E: Then why?
H: I…….e-eh?
E: Meek, untalkative, but polite….you almost remind me of him in a way. I still didn’t casually forget the fact he was a murderer though…..killing someone weaker and smaller than him to make it worse….I won’t make the same mistake again
H: Warden-san? Who are you talking about?
E:………………..Huh?
H: I remind you of….who?
E:…..Nevermind that. Just don’t expect me to let my guard down because you’re being cooperative
H: That….wasn’t my intention. Sorry
E: Hm, alright then. But this does raise one question just now
H: Which is?
E: You admit to being a murderer….*laughs* Why hold back? Why the shy guy act?
H: I….I don’t understand
E: Surely a murderer isn’t usually all shy and apologetic. Show me the real Haruto Suzuki
H:……I-I can’t…..
E: Eh? Why not? This is prison. You’re at the bottom of the barrel. Everyone else out there is a disgusting murderer
H: I…..there was a time where I was told I was cheerful and carefree……
E: Oh? My interest is piqued now
H: But…..I-it was wrong of me….to be so careless…..I have no right to be happy with myself
E: Oh you poor, poor thing….
H: A-Are you pitying me? It makes me rather uncomfortable, warden-san
E: I was being sarcastic
H: S-Sorry….I’m not very good with picking up on sarcasm or anyone’s sense of humor
E: I see. Hey, do you have any hobbies? Or had any outside of MILGRAM?
H: I liked doing jigsaw puzzles…and reading….sudoku too
E: If you liked reading, surely you would’ve picked up on idioms and jargon when it comes to social cues
H: Eh, you’d think that, huh. I’m more into genres like non-fiction, works that don’t use much slang
E: Mhm….
H: I know….I’m a little boring….
E: Aside from the whole murder aspect, that is
H: *sharp sigh* Y-Yeah…that….I….don’t know what came over me….but it happened…..a-and I can’t go back and fix it
E: What would you have done if you could go back in time?
H: Huh? I guess….not lose my cool like that? Just think?
E: A murder out of rage? That doesn’t seem like you to lose your temper. Your victim must’ve royally pissed you off
H: N-No! You have it all wrong. They didn’t make me mad. I was just scared….scared of them….
E: Scared?
H: You see—
(Bells chime, machinery whirls)
E: Right now?
H: S-Should I continue, or—
E: No need. I’m going to take a peeked into your memories now
H: Oh, alright. But warden-san?
E: Yes?
H: Forgive me, but….I’m still curious as to who I remind you of
E: It’s no one. Don’t worry about it
H: Are you su—
E: Yes. Drop it
H:…Alright, sorry
E: Apologies that I can’t disclose my personal life, nor story behind MILGRAM
H: Story behind….MILGRAM?
E: It’s nothing a prisoner should know about it. I’m the warden, you’re just a mere prisoner. That’s all
H: So confidentiality is why you can’t tell me?
E: That and…..ugh, just forget it. I have a headache
H: I’m sorry to hear that. Maybe rest after the interrogation?
E: I’d love to but I have Miss. Mai Akagi after I judge your memories
H: Warden-san?
E: Another question? What is it?
H:….Don’t pity me….please….
E: You……*sighs deeply*
H: I don’t deserve hopes or dreams
E: Shut up! The only one who decides that is me, don’t tell me what to do!
H: E-Eek! Sorry! I’m sorr—
E: Shut your trap! Prisoner number 3, Haruto Suzuki, sing your sins!

"Sorry, I don't even know how I got here, much less what happened to your previous...guards? Wait, how many do you have?" Haruto blinks in surprise. Unless he teleported, he must have been taken from his room and brought here instead. If he hadn't woken up from being moved about so much, he must have been drugged just like the day he was brought to milgram. Unless he had woken up, but forgot everything. That didn't seem like a stretch considering his amnesia. But wait, wait, wait, how many guards did this milgram have? Maybe he can ask them about this place. But then a red-haired girl steps closer to him. She's obviously one of the guilty prisoners. "Its hard to say, I'll make my judgements after I interrogate you and watch your music video," he answers her with a placid smile. Based on what he read in her file, she's quite violent. He doubts what she tells him will help her much. And the youngest one here says he won't survive a day in this milgram. Yeah, they do seem like a tough bunch according to their reports. But its nothing he can't handle. Maybe. "It's okay. You don't have to introduce yourselves now, I plan to interrogate each of you separately later on," Haruto gives the white-haired lady a polite nod. He then turns back to the rest of the prisoners. "My name is Suzuki Haruto, if you guys would like to know. I want to interrogate you guys one by one, so it'd be a great help if you could go back to your rooms after breakfast and wait until I call you to the interrogation room," he smiles again. Will they cooperate like his group of prisoners did? He doesn't know what he'd do if they didn't behave. Oh dear~ He claps once, dismissing them back to their meal. "So what's for breakfast?" He asks cheerfully.
A brown-haired boy with bandages on his head tries to answer, even though it's really hard for him to speak and even simply open his mouth.
"There's two of them.. probably."
Other prisoners don't pay attention to that last word. Yurika is obviously not satisfied with Haruto's answer. Looks like he's gonna be just as bad as the original guards. If only somebody could hear her out..
After Haruto's last question, the prisoners stay quiet. Most of them slowly get up and leave the cafeteria, looks like they were either already done with their food when Haruto got here or they just lost their appetite, which is understandable considering this whole situation. The purple-haired boy is one of the few prisoners who decide to stay and he turns back to Haruto.
"Soooo, Haruto-nii, you, like, don't know anything about what happened to our guards?" The kid even looks kind of disappointed. "Eh, I'm not gonna miss that guy, but I'm a bit worried about Miki-nii."
He even pretends to wipe a tear off his face.
"What is she gonna do without me.. Will she be okay? What if she's all alone somewhere? Or what if Eiji-nii is still with her? That sounds even worse.."

𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚎: 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝟹 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝
Tumblr media
Haruto: The date is 1 November XXXX. On October 31, the prisoners were offered two options to choose from as a Halloween special: trick or treat. I wasn't aware of this until today.
Prisoner 001: Kanai Ichiro chose treat and received a sample of clay. He was still fascinated with it this morning despite receiving it last night. I wouldn't be surprised if he's hyperfixating.
But... I'm pretty sure he's playing with it to distract himself from the crying. He told Noa-san about it and then she told me. According to Ichiro, there's a baby on his bed that won't stop crying. He only appeared this morning when Ichiro woke up. He moved to the cafeteria, but he can still hear the crying.
Ichiro is a prisoner that obviously hasn't been mentally well even before he was brought to Milgram, but when most of the prisoners are seeing people in their rooms, I know its not another one of his hallucinations. You... You're pretty fucked up for orchestrating something like this. Everyone was already-! [Haruto groans and tussles his hair frustratedly.] Whatever. On with the report.
Prisoner 002: Kobayashi Akane chose treat and received a CD of "A silent voice". She plans to watch it tonight in Noa-san's room after dinner. Even though the screen in her room has a CD player, she avoids it because her father is in there. She told me he started beating her in a rage when she woke up, but her arms show no marks or bruising. Apparently it felt real to her. She also thinks these "hallucinations" can't leave the prisoners' rooms because her father didn't follow her when she ran out of her room.
[Haruto flips through his notepad on his table.] What the hell is even happening anymore?
Ah, prisoner 003: Iwamoto Daisuke chose treat and received a photo of his friend Ryuto at a company dinner. He showed me. Um, Daisuke-kun must really appreciate suits. His friend's a handsome guy who can't be bothered to smile for the camera. I'm somehow not surprised.
Interestingly, Daisuke-kun doesn't see his friend in his room. Instead, all the guilty prisoners had a dream where they met a strange man.
For Daisuke-kun, he can only remember the man wearing the weirdest suit and matching hat. Lime green, purple and orange stripes. If I had to see that, I would consider it a nightmare. All the man said was: "Did you do it for him, or did you do it for you?" Daisuke-kun didn't feel like talking after that, so I let him be.
Prisoner 004: Toma Suzume chose treat and the monitor in her room started playing a recording of her mother calling the police to report her disappearance. That explains why she was crying this morning.
She only remembers a shadowy figure waving a silver wand about in her dream. He leaned in close and asked: "Is this your love?" Suzume-san answered "yes" and he laughed. Freaky, but okay.
Prisoner 005: Endo Haku chose trick "out of curiosity" and received a camera. I checked it out this morning and it just seemed like a normal camera to me. Haku-chan showed me that the camera had future telling properties when he used it. He demonstrated by pointing the camera at an empty bench in the cafeteria. On the screen, Yui-san was shown to be sitting there. He took a picture and sure enough, Yui-san came over to sit by the spot soon after. Um, what a useful camera?
He reported to me that his victim appeared in his room this morning as well, but was strangely silent the whole time. The only thing he did was stare at Haku-chan, albeit angrily. Which is unusual because he's the only victim who hasn't vocalized at least once.
Prisoner 006: Sasaki Yui chose treat and received new earrings with blue bow charms. She's really excited about them, started styling her hair again and everything. But her good mood is mostly due to her dear friend greeting her in the morning. She teared up when she told me about how cheerful and beautiful Himiko was just as she remembered. To be honest, it was giving me fr... Never mind. I'm glad they can reunite, even under shitty circumstances like this.
Prisoner 007: Shigeru Rin chose trick because that's what he felt the options were and received an airhorn to assault the other prisoners with. Compared to Haku-chan's magic camera, Rin-chan's gift is more of a harmless object to prank people with. Unless the airhorn has some magical properties I don't know about.
Rin-chan wasn't as happy with seeing Renho as Yui-san was to see Himiko, with him finally feeling guilty about his crime. According to him, Renho doesn't blame him but is miffed about dying so young. I'm not sure how much of that is true, but he tells me they're talking it out. I can't see or hear Renho anyway, so I'll leave them to it.
Prisoner 008: Watanabe Noa chose treat and received this pretty beach themed jar of sand. Its all white and shimmery, with seashells and an opened oyster with a pearl inside. Super cute. She hadn't come out to make breakfast this morning, so I was worried about her mental state when I went to check on her. I didn't have to worry though. She looked really happy talking to herself (her husband) in her room, so I left her to it. I don't think I've ever seen her genuinely happy. And uh, I ended up making breakfast for everyone even though I woke up late.
Prisoner 009: Miyahara Kiyoshi chose treat and received an apple from his hometown. Its famous for its apples and said apples a have distinct taste. I'm not the expert, so I'll take his word for it.
In his dream, the weird man was wearing a monocle. I asked Kiyoshi-san if the man was wearing a suit as well, and he answered: "Now that I think about it, yes. But its blurry in my head." I guess each guilty prisoner focused on a certain aspect of the man. Kiyoshi-san also didn't seem to be planning on telling me what the man said to him until I asked. "Just accept your punishment quietly." A reference to Kiyoshi-san's guilty verdict perhaps?
Prisoner 010: Okura Mayumi...claimed that she chose treat and received a cupcake. Since Kiyoshi-san received an apple, its not weird for prisoners to receive food. But the cupcake didn't seem to hold any sentimental value for Mayumi-san. She said something about helping her mother bake when she was younger, but I'm still not convinced.
Strangely, she's the only innocent prisoner that doesn't see her victim in her room. Instead, she had a weird dream like the guilty prisoners. She was in an empty cinema hall with the strange man. The thing she remembered about him was his conniving smile. I asked Mayumi-san what he said to her, but she claimed he hadn't said anything.
I'm not sure what the purpose of this Halloween special is, but it can't be anything good as long as there are tricks involved. The hallucinations as well? Give me a break. [Haruto leans back, burying his face in his hands.] You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?
What do you even expect me to do in this situation?
[Haruto sighs, uncovering his face.] Shit. What else can I do but adapt.

𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚎: 𝙴𝚗𝚍 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝟸 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚘𝚛𝚝
Tumblr media
Haruto: [Runs a hand across his face tiredly.] The second trial has ended. I've announced the verdicts to every prisoner. Thanks to this trial's batch of guilty prisoners, nothing bad happened. I've got to commend them for keeping their cool.
Then again... It seems they all wanted to be voted guilty anyway.
Every prisoner previously voted guilty was voted innocent this time around, so they all reacted well enough to the news.
I gave Ichi-kun his soft toy back. He hugged it with a squeal when I brought it to him. It wasn't a cute noise, but I couldn't help smiling anyway. [Haruto chuckles.] He gets to draw with his crayons too, so he's looking forward to that. Best of all, he's stopped slamming his head into things, which is a great relief.
Aka-chan gets to keep her innocent streak, so she's happy as a peach. I should be more careful since she doesn't feel guilty about her murder at all, but honestly... I believe her claim about only wanting her dad dead. She told me she wants to celebrate by dyeing her hair. So, that will be interesting. She's become even less anxious and aggressive, which is great. Happy prisoners, functional prison, yes. [Haruto rubs at his eyes, as if he's sleepy.]
Due to his request, Daisuke-kun was voted guilty for the second trial. He just smiled and looked down when I told him. At this point, I don't think anything in Milgram will make him happy. He hasn't stopped fidgeting with his choker since. I think I'll take it away tomorrow.
Uh. Suzume-san. She was sitting by her bed when I visited her cell, just staring at the wall ahead. I informed her of her guilty verdict, but her eyes were so blank I don't think she heard me. I turned to leave eventually, which is when she said: "When will Taro-kun come to see me?" She still looked out of it, so I replied: "Soon." Then I left. [Haruto shrugs.] Aka-chan reported to me that she heard Suzume crying in her cell some time later.
Haku-chan...was voted innocent again. His music video and interrogation questions are more suspicious this time around, but I still don't know if he deserves to be voted guilty. For now, his demeanor hasn't changed at all. He's still well-behaved and on good terms with everyone. His reaction to his verdict was underwhelming too. All he did was nod. [Haruto pouts, resting his chin on one hand.] Then again, how was he supposed to react to the same innocent verdict anyway? I wonder how he acts around his brother.
Yui-san was voted innocent, so she didn't throw a chair at me this time. She gave me a weird look when I announced her verdict, so I guess she thinks its too good to be true or something. She blow-dried and combed her hair after her shower today though, so her mental state must be improving. It won't be long before she starts her skincare routine again. I've already requested for her products.
Rin-chan didn't know how to react to being voted innocent. He just blinked at me and went: "Oh." Considering his guilty verdict for the first trial changed his own opinion on his crime from innocent to guilty, he must be really confused right now. He's still a child, so its natural for him to be so easily influenced I guess. He sat quietly like a doll after that, so I left like I did with Suzume-san. I think I saw his eyes shift to the corner of the room before I closed the door. I wonder what he was looking at. There was nothing there.
Noa-san didn't seem surprised to be voted innocent again. She smiled sadly. "I still think it would have been better for me to die, but I suppose you can't blame me for my husband's death," she said. She's right. Whatever she wants to do with her life is her business. As far as my duties as warden go, she's keeping her innocent streak. Its a smart move to keep the Milgram cook free too. I'm not sure if I can trust Mayumi to prepare our meals anymore.
Kiyoshi-san doesn't go around socializing anymore. The guilty verdict must have sent him into a contemplative state. Interesting enough, he didn't give me a reaction to his verdict. He just stared at me with this sort of...heavy gaze until I left. Since then he's been staring into the distance and clenching his jaw really tightly. Based on what I've seen anyway. Real productive of him, I know.
[Haruto rubs at his eye again, frowning in confusion. He yawns and lays his head on the table. Half a minute passes. He doesn't move.]
[The door opens. A prisoner steps in.]
Mayumi: Hello. I'll be sending this video to the higher ups as Haruto intended to, so, nice to meet you.
That is, if you're not the person I met in the weird dream I had last night. If every prisoner can hear voices and the warden is an amnesiac, I wouldn't be surprised if Milgram could induce dreams as well. Do be assured that I will taking this opportunity to learn as much as I can about Milgram. Have fun watching over me.

𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 (𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐮'𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝟑 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚)
Tumblr media
Haruto: Hello, Haku-chan.
Haku: Good afternoon.
Haruto: Are you finally willing to tell me your motive?
Haku: I already told you. It was to protect my brother.
Haruto: Tell me the full thing. Was he being abused?
Haku: Yes.
Haruto: Can you elaborate on that.
Haku: ...His teacher was really strict and would even beat him for playing wrong. He cried about it to me a lot.
Haruto: Is that allowed? Did you guys report to the school?
Haku: They didn't take the matter very seriously. I think a few other teachers were doing it too.
Haruto: That's horrible. But did you have to murder the guy? Wouldn't switching to another school make more sense?
Haku: Yes, but Kurosaki didn't want to transfer.
Haruto: Why not?
Haku: He wanted to quit music entirely.
Haruto: Ehhh...
Haku: I couldn't let that happen just because he didn't like his teacher! I had to do something.
Haruto: Wait, what?
Haku: Its not that he doesn't like the violin anymore, his teacher was holding him back by not teaching him well. The school we got into was the best of the best, we couldn't just transfer! So...I had to remove the teacher. Then everything will go as planned.
Haruto: Planned?
Haku: We're going to be the best piano-violin duo in the world. That's the promise we made when we were younger.
Haruto: I still don't understand where murder became necessary.
Haku: After I kill Kurosaki's teacher, they'd have to replace him with someone else. Hopefully one that doesn't beat their students.
Haruto: ...And you don't see anything wrong with your reasoning?
Haku: I suppose many people would disagree with the way I handled things, but I don't think there's a problem with what I did.
Haruto: Well, maybe your brother wanted to try something else.
Haku: That's nonsense. He loves the violin.
Haruto: Really? There's a chance he would have-
Haku: I won't entertain that thought. Music is the only path for him.
Haruto: ...Do you hear yourself? You'd rather kill a music teacher than let your brother try something else for a career.
Haku: Don't make it seem like I'm unreasonable. I gave that teacher a warning. I personally went to his house to tell him to either go easy on Kurosaki or stop teaching altogether.
Haruto: And he refused?
Haku: Of course he did. He wasn't even listening properly.
Haruto: Wow. You sure are...something.
[Bell rings, mechanical sounds in the back.]
Haruto: Did he put up a fight while you tried to murder him?
Haku: I caught him by surprise. He couldn't do much.
Haruto: Maybe being a serial killer is your true calling.
Haku: I'm only interested in music for a career.
Haruto: ...Prisoner 005, sing your sins!
[MV description - That's all]
The MV starts with two babies lying in a crib together, swaddled in blankets. The camera slowly zooms in.
"Ah, its you again. Have you come for the final act? The curtains are about to close. Cheers to our encore."
Then it cuts to a teenage Haku playing the piano and Kurosaki the violin on stage. The audience, rows and rows of faceless people, watch in awe. Kurosaki plays with a smile. Haku stares blankly ahead, as if playing from muscle memory alone. His eyes flash green.
"From the start, its always been us two. A piano and a violin, the best duet in the world."
A younger Haku and Kurosaki walk along a blank white space, hand in hand. Pictures of them together flash across the screen. The beach. Their living room. Acceptance letters to music school.
"From the start, it was decided. The only path for us. Whatever the obstacle, I'll be sure to remove it. Nothing will hold us back. Not even me."
Haku sits by the piano in his living room, practicing the same segment of a piece for the bridge of the song. He keeps messing up. With each mistake, his outline turns more and more green. His shoulders tremble. The green takes over the whole frame.
"You both will make the best duo." A cacophony of voices state, piling over one another.
Haku stares at himself in the bathroom mirror. Its the first time he's seen having eyebags. He lifts a hand and slaps it against the mirror. His expression remains blank, but he stares at his reflection in the mirror with ferocious intensity.
"Its too late to change course now. You're not allowed to do things half-baked. Whatever the obstacle, I'll be sure to remove it."
A picture of Haku hugging a crying Kurosaki on his bed. A crossroads appears in the blank space beneath their feet. Kurosaki starts to walk toward the right path but Haku holds onto his hand, forcing him to stop. Kurosaki parts his mouth in surprise.
"So its over now. An obstacle eliminated. He put up quite the fight and stuck to his beliefs 'til the bitter end. I can respect him for that."
A sequence where two black silhouettes, Haku and the man's, dance around on stage behind a screen. The set seems to be a music room judging by the instruments on stage. Haku kicks the man's shin. The man falls and hits his head on the side of the piano. A sudden piano keysmash interrupts the beat of the song. The man grovels on the floor, crawling away from Haku. Haku picks up the nearby guitar, holding it high above his head. The audiences. Fade to black.
"Its always been, the two of us against the world. You're not allowed to do things half-baked. You understand, don't you? The song is coming to an end. I've said my piece, so. That's all."
A door is opened to reveal Haku standing in the rain, splatters of blood running down his face in diluted streams. He wears a blank expression. The camera cuts to reveal that Kurosaki opened the door, now standing still in shock. Lightning flashes across the sky.

"I'm not so concerned with what's right or wrong as long as I'm having fun, yeah?"
Tumblr media
𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨
Name: Suzuki Haruto / 鈴木 陽斗 (The kanjis for his last name mean "bell tree" and his first name means "sunlight" and "dipper")
Status: Prison guard
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Birthday: December 11 (Sagittarius)
Height: 174 cm
Blood type: O
Personality: Haruto is playful and laid-back, to the point where some prisoners say he isn't fit to be a guard. He also tends to prioritize things based on how he feels (specifically, whether he enjoys them or not) and he makes this very clear to everyone around him.
He gives cutesy nicknames to the prisoners younger than him, but addresses the adults with proper honorifics, showing that he might have some discipline. Despite how much he whines about having to do work, he always gets it done in the end.
He has no recollection of his past before Milgram, but chooses not to stress over it. Perhaps it's best that he forgets everything from before anyway, since he's stuck in this prison for now.
Tumblr media
𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬
(Laid back) Yo! My name is Suzuki Haruto. I'll be taking care of you guys and this whole place as the prison guard of MILGRAM.
And I'll be judging you for your crimes apparently.
INNOCENT...or GUILTY. I'm looking forward to it. *smirk*
Tumblr media
𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐢𝐚
His favourite colour is bright yellow.
His favourite food is sausage bun.
He likes to hum to himself while walking through the halls of Milgram. On the first night, someone thought it was a ghost.
Tumblr media
𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬
I cannot draw. So picrew saves the day once again!
I love his design. He looks so cheeky and the clothes actually look like something a milgram guard could wear.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐈𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨~! 🎉
Tumblr media
Haruto: Happy birthday, Ichiro.
Ichiro: Um, thanks.
Haruto: How have you been?
Ichiro: Its better now. There's a big difference between being voted innocent versus guilty.
Haruto: How's your brother?
Ichiro: My... He doesn't cry as much anymore.
Haruto: The other prisoners have told me you spend more time with him now.
Ichiro: I thought he was just a hallucination.
Haruto: Maybe, but a lot of other prisoners in milgram are experiencing the same thing, so who knows. This whole place defies all logic anyway.
Ichiro: That's true.
Haruto: If you could choose one prisoner to be your sibling, who would you choose?
Ichiro: Huh?
Haruto: Come on, I ask all the birthday boys and girls this question.
Ichiro: Can I choose no one?
Haruto: This question is just for fun~ Don't think too deeply into it.
Ichiro: ...Fine. Akane then.
Haruto: Oh, your friend!
Ichiro: Yeah.
Haruto: That's understandable. Enjoy your birthday.

Tumblr media
Haruto: Are you okay, Daisuke-kun?
Daisuke: Not really.
Haruto: ..That was a stupid question. So you only have one victim?
Daisuke: That's right.
Haruto: Your answers to previous interrogation questions makes it seem like it wasn't an accident.
Daisuke: No, it wasn't an accident. It was definitely...murder.
Haruto: Hm. My working theory right now is that you killed a client that couldn't pay up. Something like that. But it doesn't really make sense because of your motive and body count.
Daisuke: What exactly did you see in my music video? My crime can't be that hard to solve.
Haruto: No concrete evidence for your murder. I don't even know who your victim is.
Daisuke: Hah.
Haruto: Help me out here.
Daisuke: If you had voted me innocent, you would have been able to know who my victim is.
Haruto: Seriously? You were the one who wanted to be voted guilty.
Daisuke: I changed my mind. Too bad you can't.
Haruto: *Grumbles* This can't be the consequences of my actions. Well, what was your motive then?
Daisuke: Boss' orders.
Haruto: Like, assassination?
Daisuke: Something like that.
Haruto: Shit. You don't usually do things like that, right?
Daisuke: Nope, I'm just a humble drug dealer. I didn't even receive training for it.
Haruto: Then why did they send you?
Daisuke: Because he wouldn't try and run if it was me.
Haruto: Who's your victim again?
Daisuke: I'm sure my music video will reveal who it is this time.
Haruto: Okay... Can you tell me more about him?
Daisuke: He was a traitor to the mafia.
Haruto: Oh. You guys were close?
Daisuke: He took an overseas mission and disappeared. Took some money from us too, but at least he finished the job.
Haruto: That's not what I asked.
Daisuke: I thought we were. But it turns out I didn't know him at all.
Haruto: I think I have an idea on who your victim is now.
Daisuke: Heh. Good for you. Not that you care as long as you can do your job, right? I thought the same way too. That after I got through my mission, everything would be okay.
Haruto: Wasn't it?
Daisuke: Of course not.
Haruto: Why not?
Daisuke: BECAUSE I KILLED HIM AND I'VE NEVER KILLED ANYONE BEFORE THAT!
Haruto: Sure, people often struggle with psychological trauma after taking a life. But I suspect your current stress is because of who your victim is instead of the act of murdering itself.
Daisuke: What is your problem? *Hysterical laugh* Are you a psychopath or something?
Haruto: Ah, don't be like that. I'm just trying to find out the truth.
[Bell rings, mechanical sounds in the back.]
Daisuke: Ahaha... Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Haruto: Prisoner 003, use your voice for something more productive and sing your sins!
[MV description - BANG BANG]
The song features more guitar and drumming compared to Daisuke's previous songs. Two dramatic beats mark the transition in between lyrics. The sounds are more akin to gunshots than drumming.
"So here's the situation. You know I'm more of a negotiator, I didn't want it to come to this."
The MV starts with Daisuke picking the lock to the front door of an apartment. The camera cuts to Ryuto walking up to the same door and unlocking it. He opens the door and steps into the apartment. Daisuke sneaks up behind him, gun to his back. A closeup of Ryuto's face, lidded eyes turned downward, expression impassive.
"The hole within me that I thought was filled. Turns out it was just forgotten for a while. But aren't the two basically the same? You were a good fix, my favourite drug."
A catchy bass beat becomes the focus of the song. Daisuke and Ryuto are in what looks like a club. Ryuto looks around with a slight furrow in his brow, uncomfortable, out of place. Daisuke laughs, dragging him onto the dance floor, trying to get him to dance. The crowd around them jumps and sways. Flashing lights. Glinting jewelry. Their hands, still intertwined. A frame of them dancing side by side. It glitches in split seconds, neon green background and chains around their necks.
"With a bang, bang! I've found you. Since I'm already here, how about I catch you up to speed? You have no idea what you missed."
A phone rings and Daisuke picks it up, putting it to his ear. His eyes widen, head jerking back in surprise. The woman from Catching up hits a man standing by her table in a fit of rage. Daisuke sits on the red leather couch not too far, looking sorrowfully on the ground. Yuta in prison garbs. The back of Ryuto's head, walking away.
"Admit it. You knew this would happen. A life of serenity doesn't exist for trash like us. Look who's the idiot, idiot, for trying to run."
"If you're going to kill me, get it over with already." Sitting almost relaxed, Ryuto doesn't look impressed.
Daisuke's face scrunches a little, eyebrows furrowing. He grits his teeth. Gun under the table. He pulls the trigger.
"With a bang, bang! I've found you. Did you think I wouldn't do it? I'm just following orders here. There's no one to blame but yourself~"
The woman picks up a photo of Ryuto on the streets. She frowns. Daisuke walks up to her, eyes glowing a neon orange. She stares at him for a moment, then reaches into a drawer underneath her desk and hands him a gun. He takes the photo and leaves the room.
"The hole within me that I thought was filled. Turns out it was just forgotten for a while. I think I would have gone with you if you had asked. But the thought of you not wanting me hurts a lot."
Daisuke grins maniacally, jumping out of his seat to grab Ryuto's collar, leaning in close. The bleeding wound in Ryuto's gut, soaking through his shirt. A closeup of Daisuke's face as he laughs and laughs. The scene rewinds a few seconds. He's crying this time, distraught. A tear lands on Ryuto's face. He stares up at Daisuke as if in a daze.
"Admit it. You knew this would happen. There was no escaping. Consequences upon consequences. Look who's the idiot, idiot, for lying to himself."
Ryuto reaches up with a bloody hand to cup Daisuke's cheek, pulling his face closer. The screen glitches. End.

Akane: You look like shit.
Haruto: You could say that.
Akane: What? Is being a guard too stressful for you?
Haruto: Its stressful, but nothing I can't handle.
Akane: Sure.
Haruto: Anyway, Ichi-kun says he can hear his victim crying all across the prison, so I was wondering if its the same for you?
Akane: No, I haven't heard anything from him since his first day here. He doesn't bother yelling until he sees me anyway.
Haruto: I see. Speaking of Ichiro, you've been getting along well with him lately. That's good.
Akane: Uh, yeah.
Haruto: What brought this change about? You struck me as the type to look out for yourself.
Akane: Ah, I dunno. He just started following me around one day. I didn't mind, so I let him.
Haruto: How do you feel about him?
Akane: What kind of question is that?
Haruto: Just curious.
Akane: Uh. I guess he's cute in a way. I wouldn't want him to get hurt.
Haruto: Could you say the same about yourself?
Akane: Huh?
Haruto: How do you feel about yourself?
Akane: Well, I'm...me?
Haruto: You would do anything to protect yourself, right?
Akane: I guess...? What are you trying to get at?
Haruto: Your motive for your crime.
Akane: I already told you, my father was a useless drunk.
Haruto: I always thought you killed out of self-defense, but was that really the case?
Akane: Does this mean you're voting me guilty?
Haruto: Were you in danger when you killed him?
Akane: O-Oi!
Haruto: Answer the question.
Akane: I was really angry, okay?
Haruto: Why, what did he do?
Akane: I just received my paycheck for the month and he asked for half of it.
Haruto: Was that the first time he did that?
Akane: No.
Haruto: So shouldn't you be used to it?
Akane: I HAD ENOUGH OF HIS SHIT, OKAY?!!
Haruto: What about that day in particular made you kill him?
Akane: It- It just happened. I was really angry. It spilled over.
Haruto: If you could go back in time and retain all of your knowledge, would you kill him again?
Akane: I... I don't know. He's still the same piece of shit so-
Haruto: But you've changed.
Akane: I- I don't want to go back. I'm trying to be a good person. If I go back to that shitty life, I'll return to being scared and angry all the time and everything will go wrong again-
Haruto: Calm down. I'm just asking a hypothetical question.
Akane: ...Right.
[Bell rings, mechanical sounds in the back.]
Haruto: Let's see if you have any surprises for me.
Akane: I've been telling you the truth the whole time.
Haruto: Hmpf. Prisoner 002, sing your sins!
[MV description - (Don't) look at me]
"Where did it all go wrong? Probably from the start. Children tend to make their way through life blissfully unaware. If only my eyes were opened later."
The MV starts with a younger Akane walking with her back facing the camera, hand in hand with her father and mother. She smiles, looking up at her mom, and then her father. She's wearing a backpack as she walks. A school comes into view with other kids making their way in. Turns out its her first day of kindergarten.
"With a tick tock drone, time drags me along with it. Adults and children live different lives. My body isn't catching up fast enough."
The camera cuts to a teenage Akane sitting by her dining table. A closeup of the table reveals several overdue rent notices and empty beer cans. Her father lies asleep on the couch in the living room. She counts through a stack of bills in her hand. A shot of a calendar on the wall reveals that its the start of the month.
"Filial piety is a virtue. They made you, its only fair that you repay them. Screw that! At this rate, I'm starting to wish I was never born."
Akane takes out a container of leftover fried rice from the fridge and heats it up in a microwave. The calendar shows that its the seventh day of the month. There's a new bandage on her cheek. She takes half of the food onto her plate and leaves the rest on the dining table. She then retreats into her room.
"A world that keeps spinning without me. I'll curse it. Open your eyes and look at me. (Don't look at me.) Look at me. Open your eyes and see."
A montage ensues as the chorus starts. Akane attending school. Working at the café. Receiving her paycheck. Being pulled by the hair by her classmates. Walking home in the rain. Sorting through the bills. Eating ice cream in the convenience store. Getting hit across the face. The calendar is present throughout the montage at a lower opacity, pages flying off to show that three years have passed.
"You disgust me. Don't even make me look at you. What I remember about mom, I really loved her."
The song stops playing. Crickets chirp in the background. Akane and her father sit opposite each other by the dining table. He tears up slowly and says: "I loved her too."
"A world that keeps spinning without me. I'll curse it. Open your eyes and look at me. (Don't look at me.) Look at me. Open your eyes and see."
Akane stands by the sink, scrubbing the dishes. She stares blankly ahead of her. Her fist clenches harder around the sponge, squeezing out more bubbles. Back and forth. She scrubs faster and harder. Back and forth. Back and forth. Its the thirty first day of the month.
"Children lie to get out of trouble. Adults aren't so different. You disgust me. Don't even make me look at you."
Its the first day of the month. A reply of the last scene of Testimony where Akane's father takes half of her salary. She grabs the beer bottle and stalks after him. The camera switches to her point of view as she steps closer to him in the hallway. The camera cuts off before the bottle makes contact with his head.
"An unchanging testimony, I always tell the truth. All you have to do is open your eyes and look at me. (Don't look at me.)"
A teenage Akane walks with her back to the camera, carrying a backpack. She's alone this time. A school comes into view with other teenagers walking in. Turns out its her first day of high school.

Haruto: How are you, Ichi-kun?
Ichiro: Could be better, but I'm okay.
Haruto: First of all, tell me about your victim. I understand that he's your little brother?
Ichiro: Yes. My mom had him a year after she got remarried.
Haruto: Why do you think he cries so much?
Ichiro: Isn't that what babies do?
Haruto: Doesn't he stop when you pay attention to him?
Ichiro: I guess...
Haruto: If his crying bothers you so much, why don't you pay attention to him more?
Ichiro: ...
Haruto: Ichi-kun?
Ichiro: I can't- I can't look at him.
Haruto: Why not? Doesn't he laugh when you look at him?
Ichiro: I can't.
Haruto: The other prisoners have reported that they've seen you smiling in your room.
Ichiro: HE LOOKS LIKE ME!
Haruto: You both are related. What's wrong with that?
Ichiro: She doesn't love me... She doesn't love me...
Haruto: ...Okay. Next question, what could have driven you to kill a baby? One that's your sibling no less.
Ichiro: *Starts sniffling*
Haruto: Come on, this is really important.
Ichiro: He would have been better off dead.
Haruto: What makes you say that?
Ichiro: He would have grown up like me. Our mom...didn't love him.
Haruto: ...
Ichiro: My father was too engrossed in his work. His father was cheating. Our parents' marriage wasn't meant to last. Our mother only had us because that was her idea of a perfect family.
Haruto: Ah... So you didn't kill him out of jealousy?
Ichiro: I guess I was jealous at first... Then it all fell apart when he started staying out late.
Haruto: Your stepfather?
Ichiro: Yeah.
Haruto: Speaking of him, how was your relationship?
Ichiro: I tried talking to him a few times, but he didn't seem interested. I don't think he likes kids.
Haruto: So that's how it is... I've got your crime all wrong then. You killed your brother to spare him from the fate you suffered, right?
Ichiro: Well, yes. No, there was more to it... Its not so simple...
Haruto: It never is.
Ichiro: Our mom was busy arguing with his father when I set him down in his crib. It looked like he was just sleeping. They didn't notice until hours later.
Haruto: How did they react?
Ichiro: I had already slipped out of the house by then.
Haruto: Even so, you have to ask yourself: Did I have the right to kill him? He may have looked like you, he may have grown up to live a life like you, but he is his own person. Was it right for you to kill him because of your own intentions?
Ichiro: I don't know...
Haruto: I'll ask you again. Why won't you pay attention to him?
Ichiro: Because-!
Haruto: Why? Why?!
Ichiro: Because he'll smile at me like I didn't drown him to death!
Haruto: Did you love him?
Ichiro: I don't know... *Sobs* I don't know what love is!
Haruto: Do you love him?
Ichiro: I can't look at him. I can't-
[Bell rings, mechanical sounds in the back.]
Haruto: *Sigh* Good work, Ichi-kun. I think I've got everything I need.
Ichiro: *Still crying*
Haruto: Now, prisoner 001, sing your sins.
Ichiro: Oh, did I scare you? Its okay, don't cry~
Haruto: Eh?
[MV description - Picture perfect]
(Ichiro speaking) I read somewhere that being submerged in warm water is the closest feeling to being inside your mother's womb.
The MV starts with Ichiro floating in a vast expanse of blue and bubbles. He's buck naked, curled into a fetal position. A close up of his face. He slowly opens his eyes.
"Ah, have you finally found it? A perfect family.
A house, a husband, a cute little baby."
As the second line starts, three pictures are shown in rapid succession. A shot of a terrace house, Ichiro's step father, his facial features drawn on this time and green eyes glowing eerily, and a baby lying in a hospital cot. Ichiro stands in front of the cot, staring down at the newborn baby, all flushed red. The camera cuts to the frame of the cot again, with Ichiro gone this time.
"So, you've finally done it. Everything you've ever wanted.
Your joy blinds you to the future. Love blinds you to the truth."
Ichiro's mom sits by her bed, biting at her nails. Her phone lies on her nightstand, revealing 7 missed calls to her husband from 10:02 pm onwards until midnight. The baby in the nearby crib starts crying, taking over the audio of the song. She stands up, going over to the crib. Her hands hover over the delicate neck of the baby, hesitant. She picks up the baby, gently patting him on the back until he calms.
"A time loop that never ends, I've seen it all before.
The shadows on my bedroom wall dance under the moonlight."
A montage of Ichiro's mom and stepdad getting married, doting over the baby, Ichiro's mom waiting for someone by the dining table. The front door opens and Ichiro's stepdad walks in. Ichiro's mom throws her mug of unfinished tea at him. A flash of brown hair and blue eyes overtake his appearance for a split second. Their wedding photo. The facial features of Ichiro's stepdad replaced with brown hair and blue eyes again. The facial features of Ichiro's mom only appear once throughout the entire MV and that's in the photo. Her eyes are brown. The baby, a few months older, opens his eyes. They're green.
"Its scary to try new things. I'd rather stick with what I know.
Perhaps adults stop learning once they grow up."
Ichiro kneels by a small plastic bathtub, holding up his brother's head as he rinses his soapy hair. The baby giggles, grabbing at his hand.
"WHY DID I HAVE YOUR BABY THEN?!" A scream pierces the audio.
Ichiro drops the showerhead into the tub, allowing it to fill up the tub some more. He stares ahead with a dazed expression.
"That's right, what's the point of this anyway?
If I'm going to live a life of suffering, I'd rather not live at all."
The audio of the song begins to scramble, becoming distorted along with sounds of a baby crying and Ichiro's mother's previous scream. Ichiro's father's apologetic face. A mug shattering against the wall, orange instead of pink like the one before. The blue eyes of Ichiro's father in the wedding photo. The baby opening his green eyes. Ichiro's mother patting his head. Her hands hovering over the baby's neck. Her hands hovering over a crying younger Ichiro's neck. She pulls him into a hug instead. The baby's head being held under the water.
The song returns to normal, picking back up with its chaotic guitar riffs as if nothing had happened.
"Am I right, or am I weak?
Am I you, or are you me?
So I'll stay in my mother's womb, never to come out."
A replay of the opening scene, played backward.

𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚎: 𝚃𝚛𝚒𝚊𝚕 𝟷 𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚌𝚝𝚜
Tumblr media
Haruto: The date is 13 June XXXX. I'm recording this video to log the prisoners' reactions to their verdicts. I'm sure such information will come in handy in the future.
Especially for the higher ups! [He waves at the camera.] Hello! Are you watching this? Aren't I a proactive warden, logging this kinda stuff for your convenience?
... [He sits back in his chair.] Well now I feel stupid.
But! [He jerks up suddenly.] I'm sure there's someone watching. An operation as sophisticated as this doesn't magic out of nowhere. [He aims two fingers at his eyes and then at the screen.] I'm onto you.
[He sits back in his chair.] Prisoner 001, Kanai Ichiro. Verdict: Guilty. When I informed him of my decision, he questioned me and got angry when I refused to explain the logic behind my judgement. As part of his punishment, I confiscated his soft toy which he is very attached to. He tried to snatch it back, but was intercepted by the force field.
Since then, his mental health has deteriorated significantly. He sleeps a lot more and encounters nightmares often, refuses to eat meals, and is prone to meltdowns and self-harm. He also mumbles to himself and has claimed to hear voices telling that he is unforgivable.
[Haruto runs a hand down his face.] What am I going to do with him?
But anyway, prisoner 002, Kobayashi Akane. Verdict: Innocent. She reacted positively to the news of course. She claims that getting voted innocent was the only possible outcome for her, but she looked relieved for a bit. Her behavior hasn't changed much since then. She's just less jumpy and more confident now.
Prisoner 003, Iwamoto Daisuke. Verdict: Innocent. He was probably expecting a guilty verdict, because he told me "my moral compass must be a roulette wheel". He's been more quiet and timid recently, it seems he's dealing with a sort of survivor's guilt.
Prisoner 004, Toma Suzume. Verdict: Innocent. She was surprised, but didn't say anything about my decision. Her behavior hasn't changed much, just less unsure and anxious. She's also been helping Noa-san to cook for everyone now that Mayumi-san has been voted guilty.
Prisoner 005, Endo Haku. Verdict: Innocent. He was happy to hear the news. He even smiled and thanked me for "understanding". He's been more friendly and outgoing since then. Its good that he's interacting more with the other prisoners now. I hope that his next music video will reveal some important information too.
Prisoner 006, Sasaki Yui. Verdict: Guilty. She didn't react well to her verdict. After a few seconds of disbelief, she started yelling and threw her chair at me. I put her in a straightjacket for 24 hours after that.
Her mental health has dropped drastically. She can't seem to sleep and is no longer taking care of her appearance (which is a big red flag for Yui-san). She's probably hearing voices too, but I can't confirm as she hasn't spoken to me since the incident. She doesn't interact with the other prisoners as much anymore either. I told Suzume-san to keep an eye on her. I hope Yui-san doesn't do any other stupid things.
Prisoner 007, Shigeru Rin. Another guilty prisoner. He started yelling and crying when I informed him of my decision, saying that "she was the one in the wrong". At least he didn't throw a chair at me.
He's become more on-edge and easily agitated recently. He's no longer allowed to request for things, so he's had no choice but to become less demanding. He's hearing voices as well, and will respond sometimes to tell them to shut up. He's not coping well with the auditory hallucinations. If it gets too bad, I might have to procure some meds.
Prisoner 008, Watanabe Noa. Verdict: Innocent, despite her begging for the death penalty. That's what she asked about when I informed her of my decision. I gave a satisfactory answer, but didn't tell her the full story of course. She's now cooking for everyone along with Suzume-san in Mayumi's place. That's Milgram's big sister figure for you. She's doing more productive stuff now. Good for her.
Prisoner 009, Miyahara Kiyoshi. Verdict: Innocent. He was happy with his verdict, claiming that his victim "had it coming". He's more cheerful and easygoing now. He became comfortable surprisingly quickly after being voted innocent. I'm not sure I vibe with that very much. His victim may have been a drug dealer, but I don't think he deserved to die because of it. Well, we'll see.
Prisoner 010, Okura Mayumi. Verdict: Guilty. She wasn't happy with my decision, but she didn't snap. It was a cold, chilling sort of anger. All she said was: "At least vote consistently." She was probably referring to Kiyoshi-san. [Haruto shrugs.]
Her liberties are restricted now and she isn't allowed to cook for everyone anymore. Her friendly and helpful personality is no more. She's become withdrawn and quiet. She confirmed that she can hear voices speaking to her, but she hardly seems affected by them. I can tell that she's still angry about her verdict. She hasn't done anything aggressive so far, but I'm not letting my guard down. Just in case.
Well. I sure hope my decisions don't come back to bite me in the ass. [Haruto flashes a peace sign at the camera.]

[The video starts with Haruto sitting by his desk, eyebags extremely prominent. A few moments pass. A beat. He blinks.]
Haruto: Prisoner 003 and 009 got into a fight earlier today. Daisuke-kun's cheek is bleeding, his wrist sprained, and Kiyoshi-san's left eye is badly injured. Mayumi-san treated Kiyoshi-san and Aka-chan treated Daisuke-kun in different rooms. Mayumi-san believes Kiyoshi-san might have trouble seeing with his injured eye, if not go half-blind.
As for why such friendly prisoners would fight, it turns out Kiyoshi-san's victim used to be Daisuke-kun's friend. Kiyoshi-san was telling Suzume-san about his victim, and Daisuke-kun waited until she left to throw the first punch. He started screaming about his job and friends, according to what Aka-chan could make of his wailing. Kiyoshi-san took a while to process what he was hearing, but once it registered in his mind that Daisuke-kun was a drug dealer, he started fighting back. Aka-chan got there in time to witness it.
"Its like something clicked in his brain before he started fighting back," she said.
Daisuke-kun started digging a thumb into Kiyoshi-san's left eye. That's when I shocked them both through their collars. Ichiro had come to inform me of the brawl, holding onto Keiko with a blank face. I didn't think it was possible for someone to say "these two are trying to kill each other" with a straight face until now.
For now, they're locked up in their cells like actual prisoners. Noa-san has taken it upon herself to check up on Daisuke-kun. His mental state has apparently taken a nosedive, he keeps crying about not being able to see Ryuto. Last I heard, Noa-san is switching shifts with Aka-chan.
In stark contrast, Kiyoshi-san hasn't said a word since the fight. He just holed himself in a corner of his room and wouldn't budge. Mayumi-san has been checking up on him every half hour.
[Haruto runs a hand through his hair with a sigh.]
I'll ask them about this incident during their interrogations. Oh, and the date is November 2nd.

Haruto: Happy birthday.
Mayumi: Thank you. Its hard to believe so much time has passed since we awoke in milgram.
Haruto: Yeah, time moves so quickly.
Mayumi: I'm guessing you have a question for me?
Haruto: Is it really guessing if you already know?
Mayumi: Haha, I guess not.
Haruto: Who told you about my birthday question?
Mayumi: Noa-san. We've been talking.
Haruto: Hm. Answer me then. If you could choose one prisoner here to be your sibling, who would it be?
Mayumi: Kiyoshi-san.
Haruto: I thought you weren't on good terms with him anymore?
Mayumi: Hm, maybe. Not really. I don't dislike him.
Haruto: Care to explain the reason why?
Mayumi: He's a functioning member of society, and he treats his parents well. My mom deserves a son like that.
Haruto: You have a little brother, right? What's he like?
Mayumi: He dropped out of university and hasn't found a job yet. All he does is stay in his room. Its disappointing.
Haruto: Your expression right now...
Mayumi: Don't mention it.
Haruto: Are you angry with your brother?
Mayumi: He could do better. Be better.
Haruto: I'm sure he has his reasons for doing the things he does. Do you know why he dropped out?
Mayumi: ...This isn't relevant to my crime or an official interrogation. I don't need to answer.
Haruto: Oh.
Mayumi: Please leave me alone now.

? : Kekekeke...
Haruto: What? Where is this place?
? : This what the catwalk of a theatre looks like.
Haruto: Are you the one who's been appearing in prisoners' dreams? Why can't I see you?
? : Keke, who knows? As for my appearance, you'll get to see it soon, I assure you~
Haruto: So, you've finally decided to meet me.
? : You wouldn't remember, but we've actually met before.
Haruto: We have?
? : Of course~! Its hard to avoid me when you're in milgram, ke.
Haruto: You still haven't told me why we're meeting right now.
? : Can't I meet you because I want to?
Haruto: Are you a higher up of milgram? Is this all just a joke to you?
? : Geez, it won't do you good to be so easily riled up. I'm just here to remind you to think carefully when deciding on the verdicts of the prisoners. Their futures very much depend on you.
Haruto: U-Uh. Yeah.
? : Oh, and happy birthday.
Haruto: ...Today is my birthday?
