Back at @camdenartscentre on Get The Message programme being a superhero w #AndrewOmoding obviously! Get The Message - Camden Arts Centre’s Special Educational Needs Schools Programme works in collaboration with young people, teachers and artists. This project addresses the lack of access for people with learning disabilities to creative experiences, learning and careers in the visual arts. The programme aims to increase creative opportunities within the arts for people with profound and multiple learning disabilities; to foster a sense of belonging at Camden Arts Centre and to encourage confidence and independence through collaborative activities that champion all forms of communication and self-expression. For the 2018/19 academic year artists India Harvey, Andrew Omoding and Sean Roy Parker will work with teachers and young people from Mapledown School, Swiss Cottage School and Woodfield School across the boroughs of Camden, Brent and Barnet. #inclusive #participation #publicprogramme #SEN https://ift.tt/2JmSFe0
