Hello! May I join the DA drunk writing circle? Im mostly wanting to learn how to write erotica, but regardless of what I want to start with da fanfic. Um. Anything else to know? It looks like it's a weekly event on Fridays, but what's the time frame for writing your prompts?

This is the important info on how to join:

Q: How do I join?

A: There are no barriers to entry for Drunk Writing Circle. To join, simply message one of our admins, per your interest. Our admins are currently @galadrieljones, @5ftgarden, @thevikingwoman, @ma-sulevin, @ocean-in-my-rebel-soul for Team North America/Australia and for Team Europe, @princessvicky01.

IMPORTANT: If you are not currently on the headcount, please do not just reblog/reply to the post without also messaging an admin. Those can be easy to miss, and we don’t want any new, potential writers to be left out!

When you join, we will need a few things from you:

the name of the blog you will be writing from and that we should tag

the name of your main blog, if your writing blog is a sideblog

your timezone

a permanent link to a prompt list

Please send this information in a DM to an admin (@princessvicky01 for Europe, @thevikingwoman, @galadrieljones @ma-sulvin or @ocean-in-my-rebel-soul for everywhere else), at the latest the Thursday before the Friday you want to join.

This is the important info on how it works:

Q: How does it work?

A:

An instructional headcount will go out early in the afternoon each Friday.

Writers who want to participate need to comment or reblog with a message (so the reblog shows up on mobile devices) on the headcount post.

You are welcome to say you are writing, but not taking new prompts.  

A few hours later there will be a kick-off post. The kick-off for Team North America/Australia will begin at roughly 4pm PDT/7pm EDT (for Team Europe: TBA!!). Links to our writers’ blogs and their designated prompt lists will appear in the kick-off post

Prompting and writing begins right after the kick-off post.

Any prompt fill should be posted to your own blog. You need to mention @dadrunkwriting and we will reblog your post. Note that anything posted before 4pm PST (team NA) and ??? (team Europe) will not be reblogged.

Reblogs will continue through the night and end Saturday morning.

Note that you can of course fill prompts you receive during DWC at any time during the week! But we will only reblog posts that come in on Friday nights.
