do you have tips on comic layouts?! lowkey making me want to do a comic of my ocs, also what kind of brush do you use?

i have way too much to say about comic layouts, paneling, framing, etc but i will refrain from yapping. i guess the gist of it is figure out the tone of the scene or the emotions u want to evoke from the audience first, then try to make it happen :D sometimes u have to go through a ton of thumbnails before u settle on something that makes it onto a page, its a lot of trial and error but eventually u get a feel for it

i use these brushes

#little frames in quick succession for action #big frames with wide shots for a bit of silence or tension #scenes w high emotion usually have panels scattered about #comics are such a beautiful medium for storytelling but u gotta be like #intentional w ur choices #like every other medium #like i always make a2 a little too big for his frames while a1 usually fits perfectly into his #when theyre in frame together everything is nice and balanced and symmetrical #little choices that mean nothing except they mean everything lol
