I'm gonna work backwards. I'm currently sat with a hot coffee, wearing clean socks and the absolution that I have for the time being fulfilled my need for thrill-seeking and pushing myself to the limit. I was jubilant, this photo is not a lie. I was looking out at Crib Goch / Crib y Ddysgl in disbelief that I had just scrambled it. Barry, another kind fellow I befriended, took this photo of me with the Cribs behind. He helped me on at least two occasions where I'd blocked myself in and couldn't see the clear route, so thank you again Barry for guiding me. Maybe I'll spot you in London someone and get you a cuppa. I do have enough self-taught technical skill, agility and ability to be calm under pressure ... but I didn't fully enjoy that climb.
