Here is another list of my favorites! This is a list of my favorite films about art or artists. The ones I have chosen have all left a lasting impression on me.

1. What Dreams May Come- Although the film is about a fictional artist, the lines of reality and the afterlife are blurred through love and painting. The scene above is one of my favorite scenes in the film.

4. The Agony and the Ecstasy- The story of Michelangelo during his commission to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. The above trailer shows his struggle with creating his work.

Those are my top art films! I am hoping to discover more to add to this collection. I do also like Pollack, Basquiat, Surviving Picasso, Modigliani, Girl with a Pearl Earring and Great Expectations but the 6 I picked above are the ones I love the most. Which are your favorite art films?
