HEAVENSWARD ERA.
Tumblr media
"Heavensward's primary conflict concerns the millennial Dragonsong War between Ishgard and Nidhogg's draconic horde. Ishgardian orthodoxy claims Halone, their goddess, commanded King Thordan build a city in Abalathia's Spine. This angered the great wyrm Nidhogg, who confronted Thordan and his knights twelve. Though he and several knights were slain, Thordan's son Haldrath took up his father's spear, carving out Nidhogg's eye. Nidhogg fled, his eye becoming an Ishgardian relic, granting its volatile power to a line of Azure Dragoons. Nidhogg has since continuously besegied Ishgard and her people. set in post-ARR events, where the Warrior of Light is accused of treason and murder of the Sultana, Ganshu fled towards Camp Dragonhead in need of help after the disappearance of the Scions of the Seven Dawn. Helpless, hurt and vexed, the only members who remain on her side is Alphinaud and Tataru, which follows her in her exile. in the most critical hours, Haurchefant was an beacon of hope for the last known members of Scions. In her way of mastering Dragoon's lance and bard's tale meanwhile, she could enjoy her stay of House of Fortemps in Ishgard.
During this verse, It will be a very difficult time for Ganshu, used to fame, glory as an hero of Eorzea… without the blessing of hydaelyn & scions presence, only could hold on for Alphinaud and Tataru as their big sister's role. For first time, she learns what's to be a hero and leader, even the darkest times. (This couldn't be possible without the positive impact Sir Aymeric and Haurchefant left on her).
On her diplomatic travels with Alphinaud, Ysayle and Estinien was one of most precious memories she carries with her during post-heavensward events and were one of the first times she could even laugh carefree again, as a memory of herself in the past.
