TANZIE & EZRA;

where they get married? Definitely in his grandmother’s backyard and it was like one of those Pinterest weddings with all the cute twinkle lights and all of that jazz.

when they get married ( ie what time of day, what month and season etc. )? I always pictured they’d had a late summer/early fall wedding, either late August or early September. The actual wedding probably happened early afternoon and then they and their families partied the rest of the night away.

what traditions they include ( do they get married under a chuppah and crush a glass, garter toss, ‘something borrowed, something blue,’ etc. )? I don’t think their wedding was super traditional, to be honest? I mean they were teenagers when they got married, but I feel like Ezra would have insisted on participating in the garter toss.

what their wedding cake looks like? Ezra’s grandmother made something homemade or bought a sheet cake or something from the store and decorated it and made it look twenty times better than anything they could have bought from a bakery. 

….who smashes cake into whose face? Tanzie to Ezra, absolutely.

who proposed to who first? Ezra and Tanzie was surprised as fuck, but said yes right away.

who walks down the aisle and who waits at the altar ( or neither )? Tanzie’s older brother walked her down the aisle to Ezra who was waiting.

what their wedding dresses / suits / other look like? Tanzie’s dress was definitely something super simple, probably something she grabbed at a shop in the mall. And Ezra was in a button up shirt, pants, and a tie. Nothing super fancy.

what their wedding colour scheme is and what sort of decor they have? Oh God, I feel like they didn’t really have one? Like I don’t think they were mature enough to put that much thought in.

what flowers are in the bouquet ( if applicable. bonus: what do the flowers mean? )? Daisies. Tanzie just likes them.

what their vows are ( eg poetry, traditional, improvised etc. )? Improvised, most definitely. 

if anyone’s late to the wedding? Wedding? Maybe. After party, definitely not. That party was wild.

who’s in the bridal parties / groomsmen / other? Tanzie forced her brother to stand in as her Man of Honor (she probably had to fight Ezra, too, tbh), plus her cousin who, aside from her brother, is the closest person to Tanzie. Ezra definitely had Sawyer.

what their bridal party / groomsmen / other are wearing? Groomsmen wearing the same thing as Ezra and then Tanzie’s brother wore a suit and tie (he insisted) and her cousin wore a dress from the same place Tanzie got her dress from. 

who gives speeches at the reception ( bonus: what do they say? recount a sweet memory or two between them? tell an embarrassing story? )? Definitely Tanzie’s brother, Ezra’s little brother, and Ezra’s grandmother. It was a mixture of embarrassing, embarrassing, and then embarrassing and sweet.

who catches the bouquet( s )? Sawyer because Tanzie threw it to him and all of the female guests were pissed.

what their wedding photos are like ( are they sweet, with the couple holding hands or kissing or ~gazing into each others eyes~? are they silly, with a snapshot of the ‘cake-smash’ moment? or are they artistic, with one of them facing the sunset or holding their bouquets? )? Tanzie was really adamant about buy a bunch of Polaroid cameras (like the cheap dollar ones that they used to make) and just let the guests sort of go wild and take whatever pictures they wanted. Though Tanzie’s brother did insist on taking a couple right after the actual ceremony and they were very cute and high school sweetheart-y.

what sort of food they have at the reception? Tanzie & Ezra’s families helped cook and cater the entire event.

who cries first during the ceremony? Ezra’s grandmother, lbr. 

how wild their reception gets ( who dances the best, who gets drunk first, etc. )

what their rings are like? I don’t think the rings are super fancy, to be honest. Like, I feel like they kinda went the 

what sort of favours they have ( heart shaped sparklers, mini champagne bottles, personalised candy etc. )? Again, I don’t think that was really a part of their planning. If anything, Ezra’s grandmother probably ran out and grabbed some shit from the dollar store and threw it in a bag and was like ‘tada’.

where they go for their honeymoon? Honestly, I picture either they saved up a lowkey honeymoon fund (and someone else had to book the room because they were literal children) or they just did some sort of staycation type deal and hung out. 

something memorable that happens during the party / ceremony ( do they run out of ice and someone goes to get it in full formal wear on foot, does anyone fall asleep in the middle of the party, etc. )? The police were called around 11 pm because a majority of the guests at the wedding were underage (getting married at eighteen problems), but all the adults came in clutch af and insisted that none of them were drinking and after a few minutes the party was back in full swing after the officers’s sent their best wishes to the bride and groom.

who officiates the ceremony? I don’t know why I picture one of Ezra’s or Tanzie’s cousins to get like, officiated and do it for them.

what song their first dance is to? All My Life by K-Ci & JoJo

who gives who away as they walk down the aisle? Tanzie’s older brother, with gusto might I add, gave her away.
