replaying da2 and realizing that, yes the voice acting is part of why i like fenris so much, perhaps more embarrassing than all the da posting i’ve been doing

#i talked to a friend who had started da2 and she was immediately like ‘oh you like him bc of the voice right’ i denied it but it may be true #i mean there are other reasons i like fenris too- im a big sucker for a recovery arc / character who’s been thru so much gets some positive #interpersonal relationships #like there are definitely flaws in his writing- namely he should have had less hostile banters with merrill #and i think it would’ve been good to see some more development re: his distrust of magic. idk i think that wouldve been neat #but i care him he’s my friend #but yeah. started a new save and heard his first line of dialogue and went 😳 oh okay. #sidenote. id forgot how much i adore all the da2 characters. like even though aveline is very frustrating to me (buff sword lady but #shes conservative :/ ) #like i dont really like aveline but ill still do her companion quests. #but like i just kept seeing companions introduced and going :D hihihi!!!!! #except sebastian bc this is my first time playing with the dlcs so i dont know him yet lol #im excited for the dlcs though! like i know its da so theres probably going to be some. writing Things tm. but like i think ill have fun #everything ive seen of mark of the assassin makes it look like a fun timr
