Trying SO hard to turn this room into a home.

Like, over the summer I left the windows open and some flies moved in and that was all nice and buzzy albeit not very sustainable because they don't live very long and I have this constant come-and-go. Then, recently, I attracted a spider, who settled in next to my desk. They live longer and it's been pretty interesting to watch them build theit net and grow on that glorious fly-diet. However, they're not really moving around a lot and it's still pretty lonely.

So lately I've been thinking of getting a bird? I bet that's a LOT more entertainment, all things considered. What do you think?
