Being swedish, the weirdest part is to find Astrid Lindgren movies in other countries

Like, there are three Pippi Longstocking movies made in other countries (if not many more) that I know of:

An american Pippi Longstocking from the 80’s where Pippi looks like she is 14 (when Pippi is supposed to be around 9)

That Canadian Pippi Longstocking cartoon. I enjoyed that growing up actually, I liked the theme song.

A sovjet 2 hour long musical where Pippi is blonde and blue eyes (I guess to make the swedish type clearer??)

I also got to know that Sovjet made like 4 different versions of Astrid Lindgren movies. Seeing Emil of Lönneberga in latvian was really something.

I know Germany has made some adaptations as well. I also know how many german actors were in the swedish original adaptations, which was really strange since those actors spoke german then they dubbed it over. So in reality, the swedish children spoke swedish and got an answer in german.

And yeah, that japanese Ronja show got me dying of laughter when I first saw it. But it was very well done.
