6. "Maybe he was just broken. Maybe he wasn’t meant to have friends or family, maybe he was destined to be alone, maybe it was futile that he try to reach out. Maybe there was something intrinsic about him that repulsed anyone he met, something vile or broken or wrong that he couldn't see. Maybe he was just a failure at socializing, the say way he was a failure at pretty much everything. Or maybe he was just being dramatic." <- idk if i'll ever post this one lol :P (I also don't know how long a line is? So I just pasted a couple sentences)
25. Editing! Or, I guess re-writing, because usually I end up scrapping or moving so much that I just re-write entire pieces. But it's so satisfying to smooth out a piece of writing, or to re-write knowing exactly where you're meant to go because you've done it before. I usually really struggle with first drafts, so having the direction of a first attempt makes the following ones so much more satisfying and fun.
77. I guess I like it because it takes a measure of pressure off of me. My characters don't have to be up to the reader's standards, the canon ones do. my worldbuilding isn't being scrutinized, someone else's is. It's much less stressful when you know that the main elements of your story are already loved or generally accepted, than when you're throwing smth original in front of readers and hoping they'll like it, yk? It's easier to write knowing that whoever is reading searched for what you wrote, or for the tags or fandom or smth related, and will probably enjoy it.
