Top 3 Misericordes: Hedwig, Margaret, Darcy

#darcy was an acquired taste for me #but i came out of the game liking her a lot #margaret is my favorite of the npc nuns tho. #i like characters who are a bit hard to pin down. like she acts pretty relaxed #friendly. enjoys playing pranks with Katherine. #but the fact that she has such extensive knowledge of the secret passageways #suggests both textually and subtextually hidden depths and an awful lot of loneliness #(both in literal time spent tracking down the secrets #& the meta association of... idk... secret-keeping? with loneliness) #basically i like characters who have complex internal worlds and are sitting on secret knowledge #but don't share these aspects of themselves with anyone and slyly deflect #plus margaret's the musician and songwriter which appeals to me personally :) #ALSO i like her design/pose a lot. vaping and praying in church #I'm willing to bet that Margaret is not the murderer BUT is sitting on some relevant info #sorry for the tag essay lol. umm i don't have a misericorde tag #what about #miserable corde #that's what zoe always jokingly calls it
