OH i just remembered a theory i had for luz's palisman after watching kings tide

WHAT IF. It stays as an egg. but "hatches" into something different every time it goes off the staff. and then turns back to an egg when it goes back on.

That sounds like it wouldn't be convenient animation wise so i doubt it's actually what's gonna happen but I think it would be very cool
