Fic I associate with you: with hope in your heart ☺️

thank youuuu, lovely! ‘with hope in your heart...’ will definitely always be a stand-out in my oeuvre because a) my affinity for our two nerds knows no bounds and b) even though it’s technically a collection, it’s got my highest word count - and it’s still open for business! some random trivia about my beloved behemoth:

because i am a gigantic nerd, i titled with the lyric i did because i EXPIREDDD after finding a clip of melissa o’neil singing carousel on canadian idol and the sentiment seemed veryyy on point for work turned romantic partners

once i came up with the idea of calling baby bradford michaela, it seemed to fit so well that a lottttt of other details began to build in my mind very soon after

if i were forceddddd to pick a favorite installment, i’d go for a tie between the teething, the blood/paint tik tok fake-out, or the first post-tiny human coffee outing. basically? any opportunity to linger upon the image of TB interacting extendedly with a little lady! also, as mentioned above, the mickey backstory update just sort of slid out, and i reallyyyy love the whole ‘the sink ate my medal’ meltdown! that wasn’t planned beforehand, and the flow is still fabulous 💕

there are really no deleted scenes/elements: i either like my brainstorms enough to expand upon them incessantly, or i write one sentence in three weeks and then toss it
