"I Wonder What She Was Thinking" 12 " x 12" This is my Mom at about 17 years old. She was not looking at the photographer. She was fake smiling and completely lost in thought. I found this after she passed and I've always wanted to ask her that question. I also found her high school transcript around the same time. Her classes were not math and science but short hand, typing, home economics, and sewing. She knew there was a different world. She was a God damn cheetah.
