normally i hate writing for younger characters bc i just find it more compelling to write characters who are closer to my own age, but i have to admit it's been a ton of fun brainstorming stuff for juliana/nemona. like. everything is so much more dramatic when you're a teenager bc that frontal lobe is NOT developed, and it's been fun getting in their heads about things. even penny and arven, too, bc even though my focus may be j/n i really like the friend group as a whole. i love digging in to how big and over the top "this feels like the literal end of the world to me" their feelings can be
