anyway i’m usually so focused on the fact that miyuki and eijun are so in to each other NOW that i kind of forget that at the beginning miyuki really,,,,, did not give him much thought once he actually started at seidou. like eijun was interesting but even after constantly saying “look at me, i’m here!!!” and improving his skills and even having chris (the one person on seidou’s team who miyuki respects over anyone else) vouch for him he really wasn’t that interested in eijun as a pitcher or as a person for…. a while huh

#idk it’s complicated to explain #because there were times like that moment w chris when miyuki was like ‘oh he’s the most difficult but attractive pitcher there is’ but #like eijun wasn’t really anything but ‘oh quirky player with an even quirkier pitch’ to him for a long time #except he didn’t rlly seem to want to put forth the effort to mold eijun into a good pitcher at first #even though part of him knew he could end up being a monster #like i remember in my first watch through there was a while where i was like ????????? this is not how i thought they would be #isn’t it crazy how things change lmfao #even tj-sensei was like damn i need to make miyuki try harder dont i #terajima: king of slow burn romance in sports anime
