Thank you for sending me a wholesome ask! I'm not the very best with character takes/characterization so I'll do my best with pointing out which character i associate with each season^^

Spring: Daniel, Johan, Zack, Gun

Spring is about new beginnings and starting fresh. Just like Daniel and Zack both of their characters went through character changes by starting fresh and starting new. Daniel quite literally started anew by moving away from his old school in which he gained a new body and mindset. In Zack's case, we watched as he changed his character goes through cages throughout the story. He went from being a bully to Daniel (and ofc other characters as well) to being one of Daniel's ride-or-die friends and an overall better person.

In Johan's case, he reminds me of cherry blossom season. Cherry blossoms are said to symbolize rebirth, renewal and new beginnings. Johan has gone through multiple new beginnings. However, they're not necessarily positive ones. Johan had a new beginning when he disappeared from Pungsan and began living homeless and surviving on his own. He also ended up meeting Gun - which triggered a different chapter to his life in which Johan begins to dirty his hands more for money and so on and so forth. Cherry blossoms are beautiful yet, they have a short life. Kind of like how whenever Johan gets a moment of happiness in the story, it doesn't last long. Another thing to add, just like cherry blossoms, your 'youth' is also transient- so cherish it and make it last as much as you can. However, these three, especially Daniel and Johan have almost or completely lost their youth or had it taken away due to their unfortunate circumstances.

Gun is a catalyst for new beginnings - whether it's negative or positive, he has helped trigger a bunch of character's new 'start' because again, look at characters like Kenta, Daniel, Johan, Big Deal, Olly and so many other characters like this man has a hand in so many character's backstories which helped change the trajectory of their lives. I don't see Gun as the same kind of Spring that Johan, Daniel and Zack are though. I see Gun more as rainy weather- like maybe spring during April. Gun's like dark, grey, rainy skies where it's pouring heavily - a sign of you to stay inside and go out another day. If Daniel, Johan and Zack are the excitement you feel when it's the first day of spring or the first day of the weather feeling warm enough to go out wearing a tshirt and shorts, then Gun is the gloom you feel when you're stuck inside while there's heavy rainfall or the feeling you get when you're walking through a downpour, umbrella in hand but it does nothing to keep you warm because it's so cold out.

Summer: Jake, Sinu, Vasco, Goo

These four all remind me of summer. Jake and Vasco reminds me of summer. Summer is said to represent youth and innocence. To me, these four represent summer. Those summer days where you spend the day at the beach or those hot summer nights where you're at the amusement park, doing nothing but hopping from ride to ride and stuffing your faces with carnival eats. Or when you go on spontaneous adventures in the middle of the night and go driving around or going to the supermarket or ordering food in the middle of the night and spilling your guts to your friends while cracking jokes the next. Or when you and your friends are all surrounded around a campfire while talking about anything and everything without a single care in the world because you don't have to worry about class the next day or the following months. I just associate summer being a time where you're just always having a fun time with your friends and all around good vibes lol

Autumn season: Jay, and Crystal.

Autumn season is said to symbolize harvest, abundance, and change. I won't lie, this one was a bit tricky to pick and choose. For these four, they all just give me 🍁fall vibes🍁. Whenever I try and picture Jay and crystal all I see are just them wearing trench coats?? Anyways, autumn is said to be the time of harvest because of all the crops that were planted back in spring, are now ready to be ✨️harvested✨️. Jay and Crystal were both born into rich families where they have an abundance supply of money. But instead of using it selfishly like their fathers do, they use their money for good (I.e Jay buying Daniel a whole ass wardrobe).

Winter: James, Samuel, Eli and Zoe.

Now this one was hard because I could've moved any of these characters into different seasons. But I put these 4 in the winter section. I associate James with the harsh cold winter season. James is not the warmest person, and just like Samuel, they give me very cold vibes - quite literally. There's no way of getting close to these two because they're both very self-serving people. Winter also symbolizes misery and death - which is something that i associate James, Samuel and Eli. Mostly with Samuel and Eli because hello, they're workers and we all know what kind of horrible businesses workers are running. Winter is also a time where things can't flourish, the same way Samuel's inferiority complex has helped benefit him but also helped him negatively. Eli was kind of screwed over from the beginning. This dude's life has been riddled with misery and unfortunate things happening to him. I have more to say about them but my brain is just not working rn aldhskalnsa

Now, I hate the fact that I lumped Zoe in with all these men BUT I associate her with winter (and summer too) but for different reasons. To me, Zoe is such a good character - like she gives some feel good vibes and I like she's not afraid to stand up to anybody and she's so kind as well (love to see her character development!). How does she relate to winter? Well to me, Zoe's like the excitement you feel when you see that it's snowing during the first snowfall fall of the season. I always have fond memories during this time because that means the holiday season is coming and good vibes are coming our way! Idk if any of this makes sense bc I'm dizzy and my brain isn't working but here's my wacky lil list!
