I'm going to wait until a sale before buying growing together but man are infants really boring. All of their features that make me want to play with them, instead of auto skipping the life stage the same way I do the bassinet babies because it has pretty much no impact on the sim's future, behind a paywall.

There is a top notch infant trait in basegame but I don't know how effective it is or even how to get it. I just kinda did and went "oh. that's new." I'll need to get a toddler without it and test their skill gain speeds against each other with all other bonuses the same way I tested the teen with just top notch toddler vs teen with TNT&socially gifted vs teen with both and in a club with skill perks vs one with none of those traits.
