Like, I GUESS but the problem for me is there really isnt a rivalry? Gundam does not give one flying fuck for Souda even negatively, he never has! He just goes "hmm, cringe" and then goes to talk with Sonia about dark arts, he doesn't care! he has never cared! There's no real strong feelings beyond "annoying and wont leave Sonia alone" that Gundam has about Souda! They have nothing in common! Souda hates creepy things, he hates the occult, he hates all of it! There is no point of ANYTHING they can bond over! There is nothing here! It's not a rivalry! it's not a hatred! it's just Souda dramatically shaking his fist in the background while getting COMPLETELY IGNORED. There's NOTHING HERE! Can I get behind Souda having a one-sided crush? Yeah, Souda's pretty shallow and that's funny! However Gundham returning even 1% of the energy? Absolutely not! It's bland as hell! The most energy Gundam gives Souda is when he's ACTIVELY DEFENDING SONIA! It's only popular because it's gay and Sonia is a girl and I stand by that. Bland as hell!

Truly, being boring is the worst sin a ship can fall into, at least Oumasai makes me feel emotions sometimes even if half the time that emotion is rage. Even typing this up the most I feel is vague annoyance at the fact it's so popular, zero flavor, it's not even fun to critique because it just boils down to me going "everyone is lying to me about how these two interact again"
