The slightest hint of silver was easily spotted gleaming in otherwise dark hues, despite the almost complete darkness surrounding the two of them as Nick sat on the edge of the dock, legs dangling just above the water, after all most of the lights of the cabins were turned off due to the late hour of the night and there was just so much light the moon could shine down on them. And yet, Nick felt most comfortable during moments like those, perhaps it was the other's presence that sealed the deal for him.

Chin tilting upward when he turned to look at Michael, a brow raised. ❝ You are being awfully quiet. More than usual, at least. ❞ Amusement laced in each word, one that matched the gleam behind his gaze. ❝ Did something happen, mh ? ❞ As if Nick didn't know the answer to that already, but he loved playing with fire.
