#there's a reason tory and robby are the only ones who got prosecuted (besides maybe stingray based on a passing comment) #there were so many people involved in that fight and so much bullshit happened and YET #only two of them got stuck with lasting consequences for it???? hm #it's not bc they actually care about 'justice' or whatever bullshit excuse they needed scapegoats to appease the mob of parents #while also incurring the least amount of legal trouble necessary #and the best way to avoid that? target two of the kids with the least amount of financial resources and fragile support systems #it helps them that tory started the fight and robby hurt miguel. it was an easy choice for them. #still scummy as fuck though. fuck the whole school system and I stand by that. #punitive justice is bullshit anyway but especially when targeted towards teenagers #even more when you consider the school did literally nothing to intervene in any of the bullying or ongoing escalation of things #sat on their asses until they HAD to do something bc it was already out of control #did nothing to help their students or offer them support just wanted everyone to be quiet and pretend like there are no problems lol #god idk why I'm going off on this again today but I'm rewatching s3 and I'm MAD AS HELL
