Bucky is def a pit bull. his character has never given me cat vibes but I’ve seen fanart of ppl comparing him and Tony stark to cats which I think is inaccurate af. They both dawgs!! I do think the winter soldier portrayal really gives me white fang (book) vibes (tragic but eventually happy). But my point is, he is a canine through and through. Steve, my love, is a kitty. I wholeheartedly agree with your comparisons!

bucky is introduced to the mcu as the equivalent of steve’s guard dog, comes from a big very interactive family, is given the core characteristic of protective loyalty, has a vicious, heavy-hitting fighting style, and goes under a wolf inspired moniker for a while … also to me he literally just LOOKS like a pit bull if that makes sense. meanwhile steve is the more solitary, sulky, stubborn one who only had his mother, survived off of scraps for most of his life, has this very endearing fighting habit of trying to just. bat his opponent’s hands away 😭, jumps from high places and always lands on his feet …
