okay there's so much fun to be had here, right? I'm kinda rusty on FMAB because it's been a good few years since i watched it, but canon is just a big ol lump of clay anyways!!

– SO one option is having ed initally pursue her as a criminal – maybe he sees her pickpocketing, or someone asks for his help because she's stolen something and he goes after her. It could be more of a rivals situation or even a real quick enemies to friends type scenario!

– maybe he realises her situation and tries to help her out? maybe he's asking around about information on the philosopher's stone and scar? we could go for anything really

– or we could go a different way, and instead of ed pursuing her, he instead intervenes when she's about to be chased or arrested for something

these are just sort of initial first meeting ideas, but we dont have to figure that out immediately if none of these seem right!
