* One of the things I like about making an art journal with fabric is how it looks on the outside, there's so much yummy texture and I love the colors..🎨😍 When I choose my fabrics I think about how they feel, how they look and what they bring to mind. Maybe they invoke a pleasant memory or simply a good feeling that I'd like to remember. Sometimes I'll create an art journal to process anger I'm feeling so I'll choose fabrics that are coarse and not as colorful to represent what my anger feels like. When I turn each page and see how they nestle together - swipe to see what I mean- I like the little vignette created by one page sitting against another.
