The following transcript  was an interrogation conducted by Captain Simon Sinclair, ONI Section-III, on Special Interest Subject 20514721,
Subject 20514721: *subject is sitting in chair, hands and feet are bound by inch-thick Titanium Shackles which are connected to the floor*
*Door to room opens. Captain Sinclair and two ONI Security officers enter the room. Captain Sinclair takes a seat in chair directly across from Subject 20514721. Captain Sinclair then sets briefcase on table and opens it up. Pulling out a sizable stack of papers and photographs.*
Captain Simon Sinclare: “Good evening sir, I’m sorry in advance that conditions are, less than comfortable for you but we’re not taking any chances after all the trouble you gave our capture team Mr Yamasaki.”
Subject 20514721: *Does not respond but is now glaring at Captain Sinclair.*
Captain Simon Sinclair : “I see, well then if that’s how you’re going to act then I should get to the point of why your here.” *Captain Sinclair speaks with a less friendly tone than before. A small scowl appears on his face as he scatters a half dozen photo’s on the table in front of Subject 20514721.* “Tell me Mr. Yamasaki, if that’s even your real name, is that you in these photos?. What are you exactly? Don’t say you’re Human after the the feats of speed and strength you demonstrated during your capture.”
Subject 20514721: *Briefly grumbles something in a unknown language. As he’s staring at the photos while remaining silent*
Captain Simon Sinclair : “I see, you’re trying to play quiet now. That’s not going to help you here. Not with the amount of Evidence we have on you. You may as well start talking if you want even the hope of leaving this room as a free man.”
Subject 20514721:  *Glares at Captain Sinclair more menacingly*
Captain Simon Sinclair: “I see, shall I perhaps start off and you correct me if i got the facts wrong then? Okay, Lets start.  On October the 12th 2523 A man matching your description was the last one seen with a woman named Tara Romano on Reach. A woman who a few months later carried out a suicide bombing on the Colony of Andesia. The newspaper you run shows sympathetic views towards Insurrectionists. Several of your editors know or had known a couple prominent insurrectionist figures. With Evidence like this it wouldn’t be too hard to make a narrative that would suggest you radicalized Tara Romano into carrying out the suicide bombing. This just wouldn’t affect you Mr. Yamasaki, this would put your entire family at risk too. Some of the people who lost family in that attack live here on Reach, and some of them are in positions that could make life for you and your children very hard, Dangerous even. You know how people are once they find something to blame their loss on, they’d want revenge, to the make the responsible party feel their pain. Most people would seek legal action, some however, well they’d try to go around the law to get vengeance. It can be an easy matter to arrange protection for them, it’s just as easy of a matter to leave them at the mercy of the grieving families.”
Subject 20514721: *Attempts to lunge at Captain Sinclair but comes up far too short due to the shackles.* “BASTARD! YOU LEAVE MY FAMILY OUT OF THIS YOU MUDCRAWLER .”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *Gives no reaction at the attempt and motions the guards to lower their weapons.* “Ah ah ah.  Mr. Yamasaki that there isn’t going to help you. I didn’t say that I was going to do that, I merely said I could do that. What actually happens though is solely determined by whether or not you decide to cooperate with us. So what shall it be hmm?”
Subject 20512721: *Closes his eyes for a minute before sighing and sitting back down on the chair* “You Humans... have grown to become very formidable since my youth. Fine, I shall talk. but only if you leave my family out of this.”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *Smiles before sitting in the chair across from Subject 20514721* “Of course, Mr. Yamasaki. Where shall we begin? Ah yes, your involvement with the Tara Romano and the suicide bombing she later carried out on Andesia. Tell me Mr. Yamasaki, did you radicalize Ms. Romano into committing an act of terror?”
Subject 20512721: *Sighs and looks at Captain Sinclair with a scowl* “No, I did not radicalize her. I merely wanted her to be instilled with the journalistic attitude I held...However one of my contacts met with Miss Romano and the next I knew they were in a relationship of sorts before she went and blew herself up.”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *Leans forward slightly. Intense look present in his eyes.* “And Who would it be that Radicalized Miss Romano Mr. Yamasaki?”
Subject 20512721: “I believe he went by the name of Shirou Czhou. Though whether that is his true name I do not know. You humans have always been clever ones with your deceptions.” *Subject 20512721 shifts around in his chair but makes no other movement.*
Captain Simon Sinclair: *nods once and pulled out a small notebook from a pocket, he flips two pages before pulling a small pencil and writes something down before putting both away. Captain Sinclair is now smiling*  “Mr. Yamasaki, We, appreciate your cooperation. Now here’s the question for you. Do you wish to walk out of here a free man return to your family?”
Subject 20512721: *Looks up in shock and disbelief at the question just asked* “Why Of course I do! Who wouldn’t want to return home after all of this!*
Captain Simon Sinclair : *Leans back into chair again and gathers up photos.* “Yes who wouldn’t but  it won’t be as simple as us letting you now Mr. Yamasaki. But you were aware of this weren’t you.”
Subject 20512721: *Grimaces* “Yes, I was aware of this Huma-Mr. Sinclair. So what’s your price? What conditions or tasks must I fulfill in order to be released?”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *Smiles and puts his hands together at the finger tips.* “Good, very good. You’re being cooperative. As for the conditions of your release, obviously the first is that no one else can know what was talked about here. That one is a obvious given, however we want to act as our eyes out there. Gather what you hear and report it to our agents in the field. Of course you’ll have a Bio tracker chip implanted inside of one of your legs so we know your position at all times. You and your family will be monitored 24/7 by our agents and AI. Furthermore, we would like for you to provide us with information of who else is a non-human.  Should you try to run away or try to cross us... Well, just think of your family Mr. Yamasaki in case you hold no regard for your own life.”
Subject 20512721: *Tugs once at shackles and face scrunches into a snarl briefly before returning to a neutral expression.* “And if I do all of this Mr. Sinclair. Will you guarantee my family’s safety in the event I were to be discovered and killed?”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *Facial expression and movements that  indicate honesty wash over Sinclair’s face.* “Of course Mr. Yamasaki. The Office of Naval Intelligence will do all in its power to keep the family of an informant such as yourself safe. In the event that you are discovered and killed. You’re family will be moved swiftly by our teams to an inner colony world and given a new Identity and new life. We’ll even go as far as to give them both Facial reconstruction surgery if they so desire in order to not be recognized by anyone... Of course this is if you do indeed accept the offer to become our informant.”
Subject 20512721: *Looks at floor for a few minutes before sighing and looking back up at Captain Sinclair.* “Fine, I accept your offer Mr. Sinclair. I will do this, for the sake of my family. Where do I sign the contract to seal this deal and bind me by my word?”
Captain Simon Sinclair: *gets up and makes ready to leave the interrogation room but pauses to address Subject 20512721′s question* “I’ll let my Subordinates handle that and see to your briefing on how to more effectively carry out your Job. After all, a crow’s eyes are virtually unmatched in what it is they can observe.”
Subject 20512721: *Pales and Visibly shudders* “You remind me a tad too much of a Woman I knew long ago when I lived on Earth...”
//End of transcript
Addendum February 20th, 2538 to Margaret Parangosky:  Akihiko Yamasaki provided an invaluably large amount of Actionable intelligence to ONI for the six brief months he was an active informant. Unfortunately, Mr. Yamasaki perished in December when his homeworld was discovered and attacked by Covenant Forces. However Reports from ONI personnel attached to observe and relocate Mr. Yamasaki’s family to safety had he been discovered as one of informants by insurrectionists have testified. Mr. Yamasaki Directly engaged with Covenant Forces and managed to draw away a Division’s worth of Ground troops for an hour. Satellite footage and recovered superintendent data revealed Mr. Yamasaki’s manner of death, as well as the fact that he had liquidated a full half of the Covenant Division he lured away before he was finally overwhelmed and killed. It’s surprising that we managed to capture him in the first place given what that recovered footage showed us.
As for Mr. Yamasaki’s family, his spouse and their three Children. They were evacuated off planet and now they reside in a apartment flat on Earth in Osaka, Japan. They are still being monitored by ONI personnel and Akihiko Yamasaki’s spouse Malta Windward Yamasaki has been, cooperative with ONI agents since her Husband’s passing. Among the plentora of notes Mr. Yamasaki sent to my Office in his brief six months of Activity before his untimely demise, he’s ID’d no less than 2,500 Special Interest Persons, and a plethora of Insurrectionist personnel. However in his notes about Non-humans, he had expressed fear in both writing and in the few talks we had in those six months about a woman called Yukari Yakumo. Current searches of Colonial databases show no results for anyone matching that name. Though we have found several dozen persons who bare a strong similarity to the physical description of this Yukari Yakumo that Mr. Yamasaki provided. My agents and the few AI we have assigned to this department are in the process of attempting to track down and locate this Yukari, Unfortunately our efforts have yet to yield any results but I have a squad of agents and analysts continuing efforts on that front while the rest of our department continues on with our other duties.
