reading The Lost Book of the White while I’m in tsc brain rot hell once again since I didn’t read it when it was released, reading this book while in specifically TDA brain rot is wild because things like Jace not knowing what heavy metal music or googling is and all the angst about the responsibilities of being an adult and running an institute and having kids as possibilities these chars in their early 20’s are contemplating vs TDA where the Blackthorns are all so much more familiar with mundane culture esp Dru Ty and Livy and Julian has literally been running the institute and raising those kids since age 12 also all the emphasis on magical thorns causing the curse on Magnus I’m like is it related to the Blackthorns somehow is this another Blackthorn blood situation?
